Lost my number trying to port after 2 days, switched to AT&T prepaid with a new number, later switched to US Mobile which while they aren't cheaper, they're pricing is competitive with Visble and offer phone support.
I'm thinking about switching phone carriers. How do you like it? Do you have a lot dropped calls, interference or static? I'm looking for a service I can use in a rural area.
What a nightmare! We all have to upgrade but they sure didn't make it easy. My wife did hers first and it took her hours on tech support and finally using the library WiFi she got it setup. My nightmare begins tomorrow.
@@CouchPotatoCafe This morning I went through the whole process of updating, signing into Visible, installing the card, got the DONE/restart message, etc, all I ended up with was a notice that I didn't have a registered account. After 4 hours and several reboots nothing worked. I re-installed my old card. I'll stay with the old system until they either fix this or force me to change.
@@dalehammond1749your APN settings on the new SIM with the new service may be incorrect. You might wanna double check what it connects to because the APN settings for legacy do not work with the new service.
Still using old visible plan with mofi 4500. Avoiding the upgrade because it says you will be limited to one hotspot device. I have multiple devices on the mofi and it’s capped at 5 which is fine with me. Just wondering what to expect after upgrading? Don’t want to replace the mofi yet.
Hi James, keep holding out until you have too change. From what others are saying the automatic upgrade has not changed there service but some that upgraded on the website the phone was no longer compatible.

I tether my phone to my Laptop to use my Visible Data for Internet & I have to say, your recommendation for the TCL phone in this video is awesome & I chose to start on the new Visible $30 plan,... Dude !... The performance is WAY better than the old Party Pay system :) My Ping & Latency is less than half what it was & UA-cam video's not only load very well BUT the data speed keeps up with the video playing in 720P where as on the Party Pay service with my Motorola phone would struggle to play vids in 480P or even 360P at times ! We live in a remote area with access to one Verizon cell tower that is 4G LTE network. It is my understanding Visible is owned by Verizon and uses its Verizon towers. How will the upgrade work on a 4G LTE network? I rely on this connection for remote work and can't risk getting spotty service. On the old Visible plan it worked great. Both my husband and I use our mobile hot spot at the same time. Sounds like on new upgrade they will only allow one?
From what everyone is saying the upgrade to the Verizon infustructure instead of the cloud based service is much better, I have found this with my service when I upgraded to the $30 plan, I am also remote

All the companies say at least 3.5 mbps down on fast.com will be okay to stream. To get the 4K yum yum then you would need to get 20 + but that should not be a problem if you are in a good signal area.
yeah and if your phone is not compatible and you're a existing member do not expect the phone swap to work cause it won't and message the technical support on it they will tell you due to you being a existing member you cannot do the swap
I've tried a couple generated IMEI for the MOTOROLA Moto G7 Play but no work, I would contact them on the facebook PM they seem to answer faster there and ask them if they will be releasing for that model.
Find out which works best in your area! I like Visible, it cost less then most and truely unlimited data no speed cap other than the hotspot has worked very well for me. next would be US Mobile, works well just about anywhere but data caps.

@@davidyummus6259 to be honest I would still choose the TCL. And yes they run specials all the time on the TCL. I have found that spending more on phones only depends what you have to have that the lower cost one doesn't have.

Hey Jim, Aussie Dave in PA here buddy just to thank you for the TCL 20A 5G recommendation :) It arrived today in 24 hours, easy setup from Party Pay to the new system,... I kicked off with the $30 plan & it seems to perform (so far) on par with the old system. At my house, I pull from the busiest tower in my County which is across from the local Walmart & all the stores & restaurants that like to be near Walmart so it's always a bit competitive until about 8pm or so but I have no problems running Social Apps or Netflix & in evenings when the traffic slows a bit, I tether to my PC so my Wife can have all the Broadband for gaming. This TCL is amazing value !... Super smooth, fast, very good graphics, much better performer than the Moto G Power that I paid more money for 18 months ago :)
Thier actuall service is fine and very good in thier areas, the lack of support is the problem in my opinion. I still think as a budget carrier it's one of the top ones. Thanks for watching and the input, we always appreciate it.

Same (4500 w/ old visible) It seems like the new visible is only Esim so it won't work with the 4500?

Just got my new TCL A5 phone and working like a charm. Set up was easy. It was $150.00, not $104.00.

My question is the hotspot enough to stream Amazon Prime video, Netflix, Hulu, Disney plus, Peacock, Vudu on 4k TV ???

Depends on which mofi, as I understand that the newest out can repair the IMEI on it.
How do I reset mobile network on iphone
Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
