unless there is a dramatic ipadOS change, dont think its worth an upgrade. I have the m1 and its more than enough for everyting that I do on daily basis.

I agree with you on that. Any iPad Pro model (even the 2018) is still great for what most people do. The M4 one is an iPad that does iPad things. Hopefully we’ll see some significant improvements to iPadOS announced at WWDC to take advantage of all this power

yeah nobody is telling you to update every other year. I've got the first iPad Pro and it has lasted very well, finally looking to upgrade, so this would be a great upgrade in all aspects

Nowadays, UA-camrs are just spitting out specs and just saying that I love it rather than using them in detail, saying it’s negative and positives. I believe most of the UA-camrs today you chat GTP or some other AI tools to script their video and to get more promotion and sponsorship from specific brands. They just say everything that the brand wants them to say, there is no authenticity or honesty in most of the UA-cam videos and I feel like this is also a type of such video in which is he just spits out the specs that most people don’t even know . And definitely adds i love it at the end😂. He doesn’t care about the functionality, doesn’t care about the practicality, doesn’t care about the price to performance ratio, doesn’t care about the user interface or user perspective, doesn’t care about the value that product delivers masks everything by Just saying I love it.
Well he just spent 2k on it, he better lie to himself and love it 😂

I wish apple would ditch the huge bezels around the screen, it just came out , yet already looks dated, love the screen accuracy tho , it smokes my S9 ultra , and I used to think that was as good as it gets , I was wrong
I’d do the new 13” iPad Air and spend that saved money on cellular. Once you get used to that.. hard to go back to WiFi. On road trips or out and about I could just use data. Had a $30/m plan for 20gb and that was plenty.

It’s partly that. There’s also the much better OLED display, nano glass option, better internal specs. It’s still an iPad that does iPad things though lol
It’s nice though….don’t knock it until you rock it. I have M2 12.9 and M4 13” and picking them both up a lot the M4 is like a breath of fresh air being that much lighter….when you use constantly it’s nice and noticeable.
@@raystrazdasnot sure about the display, the white has a tint to it compared to mini led and I would be very cautious of burn in as I leave my ipad pro on for 30 minutes at a time

@@Netherite0_0 I use it as sidecar for working on documents - so excel etc. I'm also a musician so if I work on a piece of music I might be working on one page for half an hour easy.

It’s thinner and lighter plus it got an M4 chip upgrade, a much better OLED display, a nano texture glass option , new Magic Keyboard & Apple Pencil. It’s a pretty big upgrade but not a major overhaul

I think so, but if you can find a good deal on the last generation, you would be more than good to go.
Just get a Macbook if you want to do game design. iPad OS cannot fully unleash the power of the M4 chip.

I have an 11-inch iPad Pro M1, and I noticed that on the 11-inch iPad Pro M4, although the screen is the same size, it seems Apple has zoomed in on the operating system. Compared side by side, the same apps now have less visible space; the text and icons are larger on the M4. What a waste of space.

Having had a long session of mulling this all over, I decided to go in the other direction. I have purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra tablet along with the S Pen and keyboard with track pad.

I love the new thinner lighter iPad Pro as the previous generation was so incredibly heavy and thicker than a bouncy stripper on big booty night. I mean it’s like a few grams lighter. What a huge difference! I used to have to drag it around. (This comment is future proof. Which means it can still apply years later on newer models)

I don’t agree with it being the worst thing. I’ve been using it for over 3 weeks now and haven’t regretted my decision. It’s an opinion that’s out there if people want it, I’m very careful with my tech especially this stuff 😃

And the ipad pro new models cannot use the old magic keyboard … though … you can still use the older Apple Pencil … you have to purchase the new one and you have to purchase the 1TB or 2TB just to experience the Nano textured display !!!. So … we are all just settled watchin’ reviews and unboxing … Apple is just for people who have money !!!.

I've never had an apple device and I currently have an s9 Ultra of which I love. I don't know much about ipadOS but Dex is absolutely incredible. Samsung basically reinvented the wheel with this and I use it all the time. With that said, how is ipad not as good? The m4 is super powerful and outpaces the Snapdragon 8 gen 2 by an extreme margin while offering a stable and user friendly OS, stability, updates, and a wide array of apps. From what I've read and seen, the Ipad offers more raw performance but the S9 series focuses on a more in depth UI while offering insane multitasking abilities. Samsung knew it couldn't compete with the Ipad in regards to raw performance so they seem to have put their eggs in a more robust UI but that doesn't necessarily mean it's better than the new m4 Ipad. Personally I'd love to have one.
