Intake Manifold Conversion to ITB

560SL Mercedes-Benz Intake Manifold Conversion to Individual Throttle Bodys.
Now there are two intake manifolds: one small for the road, and one big for drag racing. The big ITB is on/off only.

nice. the lower manifold on these things is the choke point for the whole engine. everything else is capable of much more power.

Exactly, thats why im making on my m117 5.0 bigger/higher intake plenum, about 2/3 more volume than original

So is the top slider like a primary throttle, and the itb slide like a vacuum secondary? Are you using a common rail EFI?

@@Blu0tuth0ninja I am using single injector and single coil ECU. I can do that because there is already a spark distributor and I use only one big fuel injector under the top slide throttle.

​@@LUKELECTRIC Interesting. So the top slide is more of a fuel mixing area. I assume then that your computer controls the itb to maintain the fuel ratio, while your foot controls the top slide?

@@Blu0tuth0ninja The top small slide throtlle is for the Road, to drive slowly withinn speed limit, and both slide throtlles open when going 1/4 mile race.

I would check the spark plug on the cyinder where it sucks more air in than others from the side it might lean out !!

All sparks looks good, for now a little too reach, but for the beginig it is OK. Also chacked the EGTs, all ware verry similar
