What a creative relief. I always felt I HAD TO PUT 70 hours a week to be successful. Family and other outside obligations always made me feel like an unsuccessful failure . After listening to this the guilt is less and I am enjoying more and being MORE productive.
Agreed! I love Gary Vee but his work ethic and steadfast belief that you need to work every hour you're given and work work MORE WORK! Never sat right with me and made me feel like I would never have success if I didn't kill myself with work! This feels so much more exciting and doable.
Thanks for your kind words towards Marie and our work. It's AMAZING people like you, Tara, that make up our beautiful community. Thanks for being here with us. - Jayleen, Team Forleo
I watched a pressman interview on Oprah for another book, and I don’t know if he was not as excited about that project, but the interview with Oprah really didn’t move me… This interview was outstanding! It’s very clear that he and Marie have a genuine respect for each other and I think that it brought the best out of him for this interview. A lot of great takeaways for me, well done!
So many applications of ‘put your ass where you heart wants to be’! Steven Pressfield is a generous, inspirational, light for any type of creator-contributor :) Thank you Steven!
This amazing interview could not have come at a better time. I’ve been in a low place, considering giving up my dream and this just reinforced why I should never give up. Thank you Marie and Steven!!!

❤ AMAZING CONVERSATION FILLED WITH GOLDEN NUGGETS AND PRINCIPLES TO INTERNALIZE ON OUR JOURNEY ...THANK YOU MARIE AND TO GOD SENT MESSAGE OF STEVEN PRESSFIELD !!!!
I so relate and appreciate this. Being constantly distracted by others' needs and accomplishments has made me procrastinate for years on a lot of my own goals. These include writing my first book, starting a second web blog that's more in line with my newer interests, and yes--moving to where I'd rather be. This video and many more like it are putting me in the mindset of fueling my motivation tank, starting the engine, and taking the most efficient roads to get me there.
I have had a project in my heart for over a year now and progress is super slow. I love the concept of 10% of your day truly committed to your "practice"! Isn't that what we do when we are training for something? Practice makes perfect. A 1-2 hour practice... mic drop!!! Finding my place and time each day. Look out world as I serve you! Thank you so much for this Marie and Steven! Going to buy his book!
Marieeee! I heard you talking about facing resistance to write your next book! I learned something that helped me with my own resistance that maybe can help! IF THE DESIRE AND THE IDEA WERE PLACED IN YOUR HEART IS BECAUSE YOU NEED TO DO IT FOR YOUR OWN HEALING AND EVOLUTION OOOORRRR SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS IT AND IT'S YOUR JOB TO DELIVER IT TO THEM ❤ don't question what your soul knows is necessary right now 😀 just go for it with ultimate surrender and trust! Your heart never left you behind or did something to damage you! Just write it and at the right time you will know why!!!!
Another amazing interview. Marie, I've learned more from you than I ever did in college! I have many projects I've procrastinated on... but now I know: just one hour a day!! This will be life changing for me. Thank you 💗
Marie you are amazing!!! Your videos are always so insightful and revealing to me - I switched from watching Netflix to watching your UA-cam channel and even your podcast while I cook or do my house chores. Thank you!
I am learning, .. that voice of resistance... when you are aware of it, that self-awareness of our subconscious thoughts is called meta-cognition... Love it.
Marie, I can’t thank you enough for this share. I have been a fan of your work for almost a decade and this video right here has me in tears by the integrity of its content. Wow I needed to hear this. I feel like I’m constantly in a state of guilt because I’m not “working hard enough” for my artistic career. This inspires me to celebrate even 1-2 hrs creating a day 😅

I've read Everything Is Figureoutable 3 times & listened to the Audible version a few times as well. It's an excellent book with really good tactical advice. Marie should be proud of the book. :)
The irony is that feeling bad makes it’s harder to write. Building up my ego and my confidence makes it easier to write. Just because the word “ego” is used negatively doesn’t make it a “selfish” thing. In fact that advice about the ego being a bad thing sounds more like the voice of dream killers and voices in my head that, ask who do I think I am. Personally this is the kind of advice I’ve given myself permission to ridicule in my “The Lies They Tell Us About Writing” Feeling good, optimistic, and like we have something special to offer is not only natural, it’s good. Being told it’s bad is what leads to that inner critic and sabotaging ourselves. I know you mean well, but that part of the advice is bad. Right now, it was hard to remember why I want to write as I’m hearing you talk about it as if it’s a constant ordeal. Writing this reminds me though. I can’t shut up. And I love exercising my freedom to say that message of inspiration is really discouraging. I really like Ms. Marie Forleo, but this was my least favorite video, so far. That being said, this interview did inspire some thoughts and writing (outside of the comment). And I appreciate the clarity it brings. 🤗
Love this so much, I have been a "writer" since 3rd grade, but not on a large scale, and he totally hits on everything I have and still experience! Always great to listen to Marie and Steven have a conversation. The part where Marie mentioned moving, down-sizing, taking risks reminded me of an interview with Taylor Sheridan from a few years ago that I listened to recently. Listen from about 4:20 to 6:50 and you'll hear him talk about quitting his TV job and moving into a small apartment with his expecting wife to try to write movie scripts. Oh gosh.... I must've needed this because for some reason, I was teary for most of this conversation. What bothers me is; it takes 20 years!?? I'm nearly 60!! I don't have 20 years! Should I pack it in??
Hi Jillana! You don't have to pack it in! 60 is still young! You can have an abundant life to live :) The most important thing is to just show up to your practice and experience the journey with the most joy you can. - Monauar, Team Forleo

Hi Marie, this is by far the best advice, and creative mind knowledge that I have ever heard. Between Seth Godin & Steven…the ultimate straight forward answers were found to my unanswered questions that have lingered my creative mind for years. Thank you for doing your hard work (the ass sitting😄😉)…to help guide my ass where it needs to be.❤😊
We're thrilled to hear it, Wendy! And it's not just us doing the hard work - it's YOU, too. Keep it up. We're so proud of you and even more happy you're here. xoxo
It’s not ‘crazy,’ but if you don’t know who, in the universe, you are connecting with, you may find the entity helping you is not one that loves you and will eventually expect you to pay the check, so to speak, and by the decisions you make along the way you may be paying every step of the way or just right on your death bed. If you want spiritual help, go directly to the one who loves you more than life itself. Jesus! Just sayin’. Want you to be safe 💚

Hola! Love you Marie...but please, let the guest talk! With love. 🌟❤
Great conversation - but the amount of ads cropping up is ludicrous.

Hey, I'm doing and surely I'll be succeed soon or later one day by the grace of God
🙌🏽❤️
Hi Marie, this is by far the best advice, and creative mind knowledge that I have ever heard. Between Seth Godin & Steven…the ultimate straight forward answers were found to my unanswered questions that have lingered my creative mind for years. Thank you for doing your hard work (the ass sitting😄😉)…to help guide my ass where it needs to be.❤😊
We're thrilled to hear it, Wendy! And it's not just us doing the hard work - it's YOU, too. Keep it up. We're so proud of you and even more happy you're here. xoxo
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
1. Numbers are arbitrary. 2. Numbers will never make you truly happy.

13:50 well, at least people told me that god was watching me, but no one thought that it was a message to really be comitted to something...
Bottom line, you must be it, then you'll see it.
That's too long. I only have 55mins
