I SOOOOO APPRECIATE your videos and how in detail you go! I need to finish my schooling ...I started years ago but quit because it’s so disheartening when the schools are all teach yourself, trial and error, throw ya in the deep end and sink or swim instead of actual instruction. More structure like your videos would be AMAZING! Thanks so much for sharing your vast wealth of knowledge with us ♥️ Makes me want to re enroll right now!

Thank you for all of your videos. You are an amazing teacher and instructor. I watch videos a few times over and will learn more each time. Im a diyer. Also, thank you for not only showing perfect shots, perfect application, etc. When you correct those things in your videos, it makes me believe that I'm not hopeless and assists me in trouble shooting and correcting my own techniques and application issues. Such as how to deal with my turned down pointer finger nails. Thank you sooo much for all you do.

I might stand alone with this request but I wish when you're doing "how to ____" you would use a colored gel instead of clear. I find it very difficult to see exactly where and what you're doing. Either way, I enjoy watching you're channel very much. You are amazing at what you do and the way you educate! Hope you're having a wonderful week!!

Thank you! I still have my own nails and I added gel on top of them (because my nail forms are refusing to show up :/) but I managed to do it much easier than I expected because of your very well explained videos on the topic! ♥ I got complimented on the style I come up with and I'm only saying this to tell that no one said they could see I did them and not my nail tech :D
I'm European but I had no idea there is a different style of stiletto for us, at some point it would be very interesting to see how they differ from American(?) styled stilettos etc.

Liz thank you so much for these videos you are not the nail tech UA-cam deserves but the one it needs right now. You deserve a way bigger platform and following for the kind of informative content you put out. Off topic from this video but need your advice. Had my nails done and now removed but they grinded my nails down to nothing. Still have my whole nail but paper thin my beds actually hurt. What should I do? A layer of gel builder overlay to help with the pain and strength until they're healthy again or leave them be and keep them at a short length? Id be doing this overlay myself I don't trust going to get them done anywhere

    • @Jadeyeager
      @Jadeyeager 5 років тому +1

Ayesha C I’m not Liz but a tech. Yes put an overlay and keep nails shorter until they’re grown out. As long as you have no holes through to your bed. Good luck

You mentioned the light reflection line on the top to check how smooth the nail is. Can you do a video to show how to fix some of the errors that would cause the light reflection line to not be straight. Example if there was a dip in the nail, or if you had high or low spots in the gel.
Your videos are very inspirational and I am learning so much from them. Thank you for sharing🥰

You're answering questions I didn't know I had. So much information...it'll take me a bit to process all of it.
I just started doing artificial nails about a year ago by the age of half a century.
Have you ever tried pop-its? I feel like this is the easiest way for me atm as I'm still looking for my "lazy Suzie". 😇😃 But I get the slight feeling I'm still making some major mistakes because my artificial nails only last about 4-10 days - although wearing gloves when working with water. They don't even chip, they come off completely...

Hi we have a lot of options for lamps. For hard gel/extensions and full color nails the only lamp I would not recommend is the beetle lamp as it is intended for flash curing during a specific product application. But any of the others will be powerful enough to cure anything you want to use. www.thenailhub.com/collections/lamps

What are the steps for full application? Extension, e-file cuticle/finish file then top coat? Or e-file before everything first?

I love your videos!! I'm new to ask this mail stuff and lingo lol I remember in your nail basics video you mentioned that the hell should not touch the skin, that we should not sure the excess feel off with fingers. You mentioned that it can cause allergies or something like that. However, here in seeing hell on the side of your nail. On the 12min Mark you can clearly see gel on the side of your nail, why is that so?!?! I thought when building with nail form or anyway you build your nail, it should never touch your skin?

Newbie here: Without a base coat on the clear gel form, will the dark gel polish stain the base gel like polish on natural nails?

Hi I definitely recommend you start this series of videos from the beginning. Here's the link: bit.ly/TNHNailFun And short answer to your questions: since the color gets filed off later during the backfill there is no issue with staining.

With the thin gel can you put the jar on a plastic ice pack? I do because I live in Phoenix and the gel gets really runny. Once I’m done with my right hand I take it off for my left hand.

Yes you can but thin gel can only get so thick with cooling and gel is really meant to be handled at room temperature. I've seen nail techs microwave a thick gel to get it thinner and I DO NOT recommend this. Altering the state of the gel can impact the chemical reaction during curing.
