- Hello everyone! In this tutorial, I will show you how to make a liquid filled resin shaker charm. The charm is heart shaped and sakura/cherry blossom themed.
I like to use them as cabochons on phone cases, but you can turn it into a keychain or whatever you want to do :)
Let me know if there are any other tutorials you would like to see :) And if you enjoyed this video, please leave a like, it really helps me out!

Those are really pretty, and the music makes me want to watch Inuyasha
Thank you! And I love Inuyasha and the music in it
Question of the day: Have you ever seen cherry blossom trees in real life? It's one of my life goals to visit Japan, so maybe I can go when they are blooming :)
Mintyholic Not yet but i wish
I haven’t ;;-;; they’re so beautiful tho 😭😢 I wish I could one day
Come to vancouver .w. They're everywhere here and it might be a bit easier to get to then going off continent~
Mintyholic i hope you noticed me i really wanna make one like this, i saw them on instagram kinda expensive so i decided to make one but i have no idea what material should i need to make this. I mean the icing thing, and also what kind material did you used to make some decorating. Like heart , chocolate. ☹️ i really want to make some so bad.
They are also in bloom in Washington, DC. There are festivals, parades and other events around their blooming season each year. If you can, check them out. Try following the Washington Post news or social media for all the details. Not too much happening now around it (May) but usually end of March into April is when things are happening. Hope you get to visit to make your wish come true and get to Japan one day also. Last but not least, Thanks for this video, I love it.
So creative. My daughter is interested in making resin jewelry. I am wanting to do planner charms. Great video. New subscriber.
thank you so much! this is very helpful, short, fast and professional! you're amazing uwu
THE MUSIC 🎶 IN THE BACK. ❤❤❤ I KNOW THE MELODY FROM ETERNAL LOVE (CHINESE DRAMA) AND BTW GOOD TUTORIAL 👍🏻 ❤
thank you so much for posting this video it is so helpful I have a few Shaker molds and I had no clue how to use them you made it so easy thank you again you have a new subscriber.
Thank you for this tutorial :) going to try to make my own shakers
If you have an Instagram I'd love to see how they come out!
great job..the hearts turned out to be gorgeous and the case is so beautiful
Thank you so much 😭💞
So helpful! Awesome project!
This is so helpful!! I been wanting to try shakers 😭
Muy bonito
New subscriber I love your video please do more shaker charms x
I WANT ONEEEE
ITS SO NICE AND SATISFYING❤️❤️
I love cherry blossoms and this Shaker is so beautiful ❤
The only thing I whould change is that you drill a hole in the resin to fill the shaker from that. The big airbubble bother me but its just my opinion :D
Cute phone case! 🌸
I love this so much! Thank you for making this!
Oh wow everyone else I've seen make these Shaker charms use a syringe to fill it up but yours is different! I don't have to buy a syringe! 😆 I wonder if your technique is more difficult tho since when I close the space, a tiny bit of resin would go inside..
I've never had an issue getting resin inside, but there's usually a leak after the first seal, so I have to go over again with UV resin >.< I actually did buy a syringe recently and it is easier, but you can def do it without one!
This is so~ beautiful💕💕
Thank you! 💞
It's so beautiful... But won't the baby oil damage the resin in the long term?
Hello! Where can I buy the film you used?
does the baby oil turn yellow after time?
Very beautiful 💖💖
That is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute omg
Do you have to use UV resin to seal the film on? Or could regular resin be used? I know I'd end up waiting forever but all I currently have is regular resin
soraritsuka Same question
You can use regular resin
Ditto
Lebby won’t the super glue show? When I use super glue to attach magnets it turns the resin white in some place
Mintyholic what type of transparent screen do you use? Where can i find it?
I use Apollo Write-On Transparency Film! You can get it online or in office supplies stores.
Thank you so much for sharing!
Perfect!
Woooow very nice 👍
Can I ask you where I can buy this stamp?
Can you remove bubbles in the same method as the regular resin for the UV resin? Or will the UV resin be affected by fire?
I have used a lighter on UV resin so I think it's fine!
What kind of film did you use?
where did you get the transparent film?
What baby oil do you use? If you don't mind me asking. All the baby oils I find are scented or have minerals, shea butter, and such and I don't know what it can or can't have for the shaker. :(( Thank you for reading!
I just use regular Johnson's baby oil from Walmart! I'd tell you which one specifically, but the label peeled off lol D;
Is it possible to do this with regular resin? Ik it would take longer but still
Yes I have a friend that does it with regular resin! It just takes longer, but it works
May I ask what frosting tip you use for your cases?
Wilton #21!
Mintyholic Thank you so much!
Hi! I dont know if this video is current or not, but I'm in a really bad time right now and resin has been the only thing keeping me going. I recently decided to try this kind, but I keep having leaks when I put the transparent film on. How do I prevent this? Can someone give me a detailed written rundown? I'm really desperate because I legit have nothing else to look forward to than doing my resin work every day aha
I had the same issue and I used a different type of shaker mold (that has its own lid rather than using plastic film). I use uv resin to seal the edges. even if I find a small leak just wipe it away and quickly apply uv resin to it and cure to seal it up again. my edges come out lumpy at times but at least it's sealed. hope it helps. oh and another issue I had was I didn't realize that my uv light was low on battery thus making things not cure as they are supposed to. so I switched out the batteries and now it's back to normal. I noticed that people 'dome' their shakers with epoxy resin too. I think that not only makes it look pretty but also really seals things up. I'm sorry that you're going through bad times. I hear ya... I made a blessings jar and wrote the blessings that God has done for me down on paper and put them inside. so when I am feeling bad or things are going bad I open the jar and read them. reminding myself that sorrow is just for a night but joy is on the morrow.
Why does everyone use baby oil? Just a question :)
s¡r¡us you can use baby oil or shaker oil, Im pretty sure it’s because it makes the shaking effect slower, and water doesn’t last as long in the shaker
@@prettyangel9959 oh! Thank you so much :)
I think it's because water evaporates after awhile. And baby oil/shaker oil lasts longer.
Ugh I love the music
Okay so I use this same method however I use an ink syringe to fill after I drill a hole in the top. However I’m having trouble because the screws I have aren’t the same size as the syringe. Maybe I should just use a pipette instead of trying to find the same size eyelit screw as the syringe I’m using to fill.
A pipette might work! I just bought this pack of syringes from Amazon that comes with all diff sizes, idk if that would be helpful for you amzn.to/2IY9jyt
have a specific name for the heart mold
Hola
Alguien me puede decir si es agua lo que lleva dentro?? 🤔🤔🤔 gracias
Es aciete de bebe
Muchas gracias Joam 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
So pretty ○•○
😍😍😍
😍😍😍😍😍
Wowwww

Cute! New Subbie!
It was perfect but she didn't show how to make the heart
It did say at the beginning that this tutorial requires you to already know how to work with Resin, which implies knowing how to make your own resin items like the heart she used here
I feel like i am watching an anime or Asian movie cause of the soundtrack
😂 that’s a good thing right? 😋
Please sell these shakers to me..
I’m sorry, I loved the video and the shakers are beautiful but those bubbles annoyed the ever-loving shit out of me hahaha
LOL! The bubble from the baby oil? I kind of like it so that's why I kept playing with it. Whoops!
Ugh that bubble lol
from what I understand, the air bubble is needed to help stuff move around in the shaker.
Hm I can't find your Instagram... Maybe you blocked me 🤣
What do you do if the baby oil keeps breaking through? ;;
Buy the actual thick good film and not the shity cheap kind she uses.
Hey, how it’s called the transparent film on amazon? Or do you have a link where I can buy it? Please, thank you
you don't need to order it from Amazon, you can buy in any near bookstore, or school supply store whatever that calls
AshG321M Is the resin transparency film the same as acetate sheets used for paper shakers?
