- Hey guys! In this decoden tutorial, I will be showing you how I make two-toned whip and glitter whip! I have seen others use plastic wrap to make two-toned whip, but I tried it once and couldn't get it to work for me. I hope this tutorial will be helpful for you!

It looks like a good technique...I tried once and it didn't work, I think my inner may not have been close enough to the ridges, even tho I couldn't put them closer. I'll keep trying!

Is the silicon hard to work with. I purchase a few different type of silicon and it’s really hard to pipe, and it really sticky.

This video was very helpful. My silicone has a sting vinegar smell, if yours does too, how do you get rid of that smell? Does it fade away on its own?
Yes! Just leave the case out in the open somewhere to air out for at least 3 days or until it's gone ^.^
@@Mintyholic can we scent it instead of waiting?
xin yiii scenting it can change the composition of the silicone, making it sticky to the touch after finishing your piece (the kind that doesn’t goes away) or making it separate. It’s better to let it air so you can preserve the integrity of the silicone.

Thank you! I’ve never had a problem with cracking, but I’ve always used 100% silicone, so I’d say yes that’s what you need ^.^
If it cracks it's not 100% silicone. I'd suggest to get some. ♥

Check Etsy or sometimes people make their own out of resin, you could buy a mold n make your own too :)

I have a very serious problem.. I have tried several times to do this but I can't, the silicone thickens very quickly and it doesn't work out the way I want. Is there any way to dilute the silicone? :'(

I make them myself using molds and epoxy resin :)

Can you add essential oils to make it smell good?
I know this response is SUPER late, but I wouldn't recommend putting essential oils into silicone. It can make the silicone seize and make it completely unusable. If you want to make a scented deco cream you can make them out of air dry clay! There are quite a few videos on UA-cam to show you how!

does this dry at the end or how long do you have to leave it until everythings dry and hardened? im guessing that holds things in place instead of glue
She said in other comments she waits around 3 days! That's when it fully hardens and the silicone smell isn't as strong :)

It dries in rubber. aka in squishy.

On your caulking gun, there should be a long needle like piece at the tip. Stab it with that.There is a seal inside of the tube that u have to puncture
Is this silicone really safe to keep in constant contact with skin? I am pretty sure this silicone not save for long term akin touching....

Honestly I get almost everything from eBay! You can get a bottle of silicone from Walmart or a hardware store. I hope that helps a bit :)

Hi! Are you using 100% silicone and what are your cabochons made out of?
Make sure to buff your case with a file before whipping and make sure it’s 100% silicone!

Can u tell me name of materials?
So I’ve tried this several times and every time my silicone dries out instantly before I can even finish getting it into the bag...I used craft paint to color it and I used the same brand everyone else is using. What am I doing wrong? The silicone was hard in less than a minute
It's probably the paint you're using. I used paint once and it immediately hardened as well. (also make sure you're using 100% silicone!) I have a tutorial on my channel for coloring the silicone and I show the pigments I use - they've never caused me any issues! I hope that helps ^.^
