The quality of these videos are amazing. I can't believe that they were recorded in the 70s. All of Karl Richter's Brandenburg Concertos on UA-cam sound amazing.
I always like the addition of horns to the piece which gives a spark and compliments all the other string and wind instruments. Horns complete the ensemble.
Elsa Morante

I thought it was April of 1970?
Excellent. The Baroque Music is a mirror of human soul, treasure for the spiritually and virtuosity. Bach, Handel and Telemann will live for ever.

Karl Richter was a smart man, he had Hermann Baumann playing that horn.
That is all.
wow he really is playing that horn
Yeah, incredible!
Amen!!!
Never heard of him before. He is fantastic! Thanks for putting me on

I quite like this performance, especially the balance. Obviously a lot went into this. What and where is this venue? It's beautiful.
I believe it’s Schleissheim palace in Munich!

Who is the principal cellist in this orchestra?
Peter Steiner
I don't know if the the violinist is too big, or his instrument is too small.
Usually the solo violin of this piece is played in a violin piccolo, a smaller one
But I'm not sure they used it here, maybe the filming made it look smaller
Somebody knows when this was recorded (filmed)?
1969
They all sound amazing.
@@vicentemontequin4113 Im pretty sure it was january of 1967. That date is given at the vinyl cover of these.
