At the end of the movie, Scar was furious that Simba was alive, and even turned towards the hyenas in a threatening manner when he said, "It's so nice to see you... ALIVE!"
To tell the truth i dont think all those villains in disney movies are not really villains/evil they are just a broken mess not a villain think about it im sure all those so called villains where threated so badly when they never got any love and support by your family and friends and then they dont see any goodness in the world anymore they only see all the bad sides of the world so they start to act and think like their friends and family did and do the same mistake to others so I would say they are just lost not that their are villains no one is born Evil 🤔🦁
@@erikpeltomaa9873people can indeed become villains. Suffering is not an excuse to become bad. Even heroes like Batman or Spider-Man suffered a lot but didn’t let that suffering turn them into villains. So yes, villains can exist. And people can become villains. You shouldn’t defend bad people.
definitely yes, I never want to imagine how painful it was how Mufasa died, I only know it because of Simba's terrified and desperate look at that moment, he surely fell, hitting the dry tree and then being trampled, it is terrible to think or he might also have lost consciousness to did on impact before that happens
That's the same thing I was gonna type out like he literally pushed him off a cliff. That's like saying you shot someone but blood didn't get on your hands just the bullet.
Sure, that does happen in poorly written literature, but generally speaking classics and high quality writing try to keep thoughts and motives at the fore of every character action.
@@101jir In this case it is probably true though. They probably needed to give a chance for Simba to escape so the movie could advance, and that is why they did it. It does semi fit with Scars nature, to have others do the work, so they just went for it, even if it doesn't make 100% sense, it mostly makes sense.
So if that is true then WHY did Scar allow Nala to live? She was a cub. She single-handedly found Simba and literally (as far as they were concerned) brought him back from the dead to save them from Scar's tyrannical rule. Was she Scar's daughter or did he just have pity on her?
He wanted to make her his queen but she refused. She shows back up in Simba's life after being exiled from the Pridelands, but really was legit looking for help so Scar wouldn't get away with it.
He probably was concerned that the pride would have pieced things together and Zazu would probably put two and two together and rat on him if he regained consciousness in the gorge after Mufasa's death.
It annoyed me we didn’t see Zazu after Simba found Mufassas body. Like was he still really unconscious all that time? Didn’t think Scar hit him that hard!
That's a very good point......... And not a good look for Zazu, at all. Something was always off about that bird, for me at least. I brushed it off as a kid, but when somebody explained this to me as an adult...

Pushing someone off a cliff to their death IS directly killing somebody.
To be fair, at that height Mufasa may have survived but the wilder beast ensured otherwise the moment he landed.

Scar, effectively, didn't want his actions to be seen as something a lion could have done, as it would almost certainly prove his guilt.
Right he is smart he knows what he was doing. The biggest mistake he made was turn on the Hyena's
My first on screen death is little foots mom that was so heart wrenching
Yeah. That one was one of the worst because the sharptooth tore chunks out of her back.
@LynnsWorld13 Yeah and she was still alive when Little Foot found her after the fight. So, he ended up watching her die.
yeah, that was sad
To quote Ryan George: "So the movie can happen"

Scar needs a full back story like Cruella
Lord no. They'll give him some sad senseless story.
Honestly I don't even care, any kind of TLK content I can get that isnt books would be amazing
Agreed, I just want to see it@@Roeseii
For the love of love, no; have we not learned from “Mufasa” 💀

he didn't want the lioness to find out and revolt. Makes most sense.
This makes so much sense!
