A Bottlenose dolphin mother gives her dead baby to the Dolphin Research Team in the Laguna Madre Bay, South Padre Island, TX. This mother now has a new baby born Nov 18th 2008 it is doing very well, Abby is healthy and beautiful, since this event I have been with several more grievings where the entire tribe has come in a five hour period to say goodbye to a dying baby and then they allowed me time with the baby. Also I spent three hours with the tribe grieving a premature born baby. They are people of the sea.
