  • Man saves a distressed dolphin and also has dinghy tied to his waist with his wife & 18 month old daughter in it, keeping them safe too!

      Dolphins are very smart and many animal's recognise individual people so its not beyond the realm of possibility that the dolphin will remember being helped by a human.

      You have no idea what the dolphin was doing. It looked exhausted to me. Maybe it wanted to rest on the seaweed because it was sick or even dying. It didn't seem right anyway.

      Once a dolphin saved a girl from a shark by letting her on his back and swimming really far away, when she got back she saw the shark and was scared for her life. Then the dolphin brought his friends over and took the shark down before anything else happened

    I seen a dolphin swim up to a scuba diver on another video. He had a hook and a line wrapped around his Fin and he let him get it off of him. Pretty awesome

    If only I filmed the dolphin jumping out the water a couple hours after when the tide came up (didn't know so many would be watching it..), was if it was saying thank you & putting on a show for us. The dolphin was very excited & recovered from its ordeal very fast.

    Dolphins are known for saving humans often at great risk like during a shark attack so this is nice to see. I was translating what the dolphin was saying, and it was a song by the sounds of it but the first line was "So long and thanks for all the fish". Smart mammals, we could learn a lot from them.

      armpitfuzz all he did was move it around if the dolphin wanted to move over where he took him he could have but the dolphin didnt cause he was sick he should have left it alone and call wild life rescue he was a dumbass for doing this think about it if the dolphin was sick it was in the swallows because it couldnt swim anymore and this dumbass dragged him over to a deeper part of the bay meaning he could have killed it leave them alone if there sick there is notheing you can do but now thus guy can blow his own horn because he thinks he saved him what a dumbass

      armpitfuzz not really like i said it would have been better to not touch it at all somtimes when there is a pod of dolphins and one of them gets sick or handled by a human the other dolphins in the pod seem to not want that one around i have been in the water with these animals in the wild all my life they are friendly but sometimes protective of there young now manatees love to play but dont get in the water with them they cant tell a human form one if them and they might hurt you i learned that the hard way there is a unspoken rule here if it comes to you and lets you pet it you can otherwise stay away form it this dolphin was sick and he should have left him in the grass and not tried to take it to deeper waters it was in the swallows for a reason so he really didnt do anything but make it worst

    Its good to see people being a huge help to wildlife. The man even waited in the cold and rain to make sure the dolphin was free from danger while his wife guided them from the boat. Awesome work.

    I notice from all these videos saving dolphins and orcas and before these stranded animals go back into their water world, I cannot recall seeing a single one of them don't turn back to face their rescuers. Perhaps that is the way they want to show their gratitude toward the people who saved them.

    Respect, and the way you behaved and handled the dolphin was absolutely amazing. No fast movements, you let the dolphin know you were there and not to harm it.
    After the initial 3-4 seconds it was like it calmed down a bit.
    And when it could hear its family it got a bit too excited. Well done

    Great job you guys. Seriously this poor animal was terrified times 10 and he was gentle and kind and the animal seemed to know he was helping.     Touching. Have watched it a few times now. What a nice family you are to take the time. We have a lot of dolphins here on Kauai, they are so fast. This one was really stuck. It would have kept stressing too. Mahalo for helping out.

      Yes, and the heartbreak is, it is doable. It can be done. Forget everything that divides us and just take some simple steps like, feed people, get medical help, lift people out of poverty with tools, just do it.No Politics and get government to overlook all that and get it done.
