“I don’t want to take pictures so I’m collecting rupees instead” (later) “Oh wow look how much faster it is to take pictures of things, I’m saving so many rupees”
I’ve been waiting for the next ToTk video to share my head cannon with Quin. I was rewatching old videos and thought it would be fun to share. I don’t hold a lot of stock into the Zelda series timeline because I see each game for what they’re supposed to be, legends. Legends are retelling of stories over long periods of time. Events are exaggerated or misremembered like the game telephone. The games don’t line up in a perfect timeline because we’re seeing different points of view and retellings.
You know what, that’s actually a great theory. I’ve never thought about it like that! Such an interesting idea that link is just living the retelling of stories. Very fun
Excellent. It's a rainy day and I had loads to get on with in the garden. Been feeling all frustrated and twitchy. But now, joy at seeing Quin posted. 💜
hey quin, you should try beating totk without using the funny arm abilities (good luck beating ganondorf without fusing). you might need them for some shrines, but the challenge is don’t use them as much as possible (maybe include a penalty or something for each time you use them). knowing you, you’re gonna come up with really creative ideas to solve the shrines and personally i’d love to see that
@QuinBoBin yes. There's plenty of shrines where you don't need abilities. Using pristine weapons and the master sword (which dosnt break in the presence of Ganondorf) you can easily win.
There is no "Kilton quest" in Totk, though there is a similar one you can get from the map guy at Lookout Landing (the guy standing over a map in the bunker next to Buliara). The optimal Molduga hunting tactic is to shoot bombs in front of them when they are buried in the sand, then they will jump up and you can shoot them with bombs so they fall down.

I hope you remember the underground colosseum. I did it at 1 heart without healing and not using the Royal guard claymore cheat. I have been a fan since 80k and I just now got an account. I love your videos and they got me through a lot of tough things in my life. Keep it up Quin.
I was rewatching Quin’s BOTW play-through, and he said it would be really fun to do a “boomerang only” challenge run, but that he wasn’t sure it was possible. Later, I was rewatching (yes, I rewatch a lot of Quin videos, they are entertaining and soothing…) some TOTK videos and he wondered about fusing boomerangs to boomerangs. I’m just sayin…those two ideas sound like a boomerang-only TOTK challenge run should be on the list. 😂😂 Quin, fusing has given you the key to open that door! It isn’t a speedrun, exactly, but still! Boomerangs for the win!
A good way of making rupees that I frequently do is killing Lynels (love fighting those cat horses), cooking four guts + a bug and selling the elixirs for like ~2300 rupees per bottle. If I'm in a real pinch and need the Lynels to respawn yesterday, I just reset the blood moon in the House of Bones in Akkala. Works like a _charm_ 👌
Ah yes. The true way to complete the compendium. Not by calmly engaging in some nature photography of plants, but by sheer chaos. Let it rain riches. 😂
Hi there QuinBoBin, huge fan of all of your content! But I did have a suggestion for 100% Zelda TOTK: have you looted all of chests all of the chests in Shrines? That was one idea that I had; anyways thank you and have a great day!
If they had any semblance of value for their own lives, these mini-bosses should be fundraising for Quin's compendium. Maybe do a Lynel Lawnmowing or a Gleeok Carwash, or selling Hinox Cookies.
Fun fact: when you’re on the back of a Lionel hitting it, your weapon does not take any damage. Also, royal guard, weapons, double damage when badly damaged. (I fuse things like Lionel horns to my royal guard gear and only use it when I’m on the back of a Lionel)
9:07 When the words show up orange on the camera, it means you haven't added it to the compendium. If it's blue, then it means it's already been added :) Also, for anyone else trying to fill their compendium or just in need of rupees, if you have a lot of poe souls, you can buy any of the outfit pieces you've found in treasure chests from the large bargainer statues and sell them to Cece for 600 a piece :)
Just a few minutes ago, I got what SHOULD'VE been the last korok seed, but it turns out I'm missing ONE.
