Hi I love your videos they're very helpful, but could you please put a date on your videos as its hard to know what month you're doing things as I look at your older videos ☺
Thanks for this, I thought UA-cam had the date but what we will do is go through and pin a comment on each video, might take a little while! Thanks for the feedback! -Sean
@@PotsTrowels Thank you for that, it will be really helpful to be able to find all your videos for each month/season as we come to it ☺. Very sorry about any extra time you have to spend in front of a computer!
Aw thanks for the kind words and for watching the channel, we have some videos on potting-on and planting seedlings but it'll take me a while to remember which videos exactly! Let me ask Martin if we can feature this in an upcoming video! -Sean
Hiya am I right then in saying cos I've just planted mine from the grower which are exactly the same as you just planted its September but if you cut it down like you have then you won't get fruit on it the year you planted but the following year so how do we keep fruit coming year after year. I'm confused?
Cut down after planting to encourage bushy growth. No fruit next year but the year after lots of fruit. Thereafter, prune to remove some of shoots that have fruited to get a balance of old and new grow to ensure fruit for the following year. Martin
Very clear instructions, explanation and demonstration, thanks
Glad it was helpful! Fresh videos every Thursday and a podcast each Sunday, subscribe and never miss a thing 🌱 -Sean

Hi there. Just wondering if you have a video which explains how to then take the cuttings you took and plant them. Brilliant videos by the way

Maybe I missunderstood, but can you not make the shaped fan or tree/column with the blackcurrants too?
Great video! 😊
And also, if you have trained a plant to a column (or something), would you still cut it back to the ground when planting it?
👍
