As always, you provide clear, well paced instructions. I was daunted when google told me this was the hardest crochet stitch but you made it so straightforward.
This is so much fun to do! First time making a puff stitch, had trouble making consistent puff sizes until I just made them all the size of my thumb print, haha! I'm using this to make a scarf and it's looking very pretty so far! I used 6 puff stitches as a base.
I'm new to crochet too, and this is indeed a very helpful video.. I see some out there where they go too fast and/or the camera isn't close up enough. Have fun with your crochet :)
Thank you so much for this great tutorial! I've tried to do the stitch so many times now, your tutorial is the only one that I could follow right away! Much love from Germany!
Happy November 2023, I just came across this beautiful stitch, I'm adding this to my collection of blankets. I believe I've made about 50 different stitches. Love it ❤
Beautiful stitch, I tried it a few years ago and have to add a section of jasmine stitch flowers to my floral blanket. Thank you for all the inspiration.
Thank you for this video! It’s my new favorite stitch. I started with a small square to be a piece of an Afghan I’m working on, but I think I might make an entire blanket out of this stitch. It’s so pretty and a great weight!
WoW I've enjoyed learning this beautiful Jasmín stitch so much. I' m making a plate mat, something easy to start on. Thank you so much. Love your work. 🧶🧵🪡🧺🌸🌷😻😘😘
Wow this is stunning. I think a sweater would be great but a bit of a yarn eater. So guess I would do a scarf. Thanks I have never seen this stitch before.
Thank you for this video. I was really happy to see this stitch in your patchwork blanket pattern but was a bit confused with the written instructions and the photographs!! It's a lovely stitch and I'm enjoying working with it.
I made my first born ( he’s 41 now) a cardigan and a little bonnet using this stitch! Forgot about it completely! Now I will have to go up into the attic and search for the pattern! Thank you for sharing!
I just found your video. Watching your video , I am learning how to Crochet, thanks so much , plus I just bought your yarn,I can’t wait to try it. I bought yarn at the market and learn the grannie stitch. And I find your video are much earlier then most . Thanks so much
Thank you! I've been admiring this stitch but I was a bit afraid to try it myself. You broke it down beautifully! I'll be using a pink ombre yarn to make a scarf with this stitch
I love this beautifull stich. You explain it so well and make it very easy for the beginners. Im new to crochet but love to give it a try.. can you please tell me the standard size to stitch a scarf.. Thank you.
Love this video and stitch. Can I ask if I want to add this stitch after a few rows of SC (USA terms) how would I go about adding it in? Would I do the puffs after skipping a number of stitches? Any advice would be appreciated x
Thank you! 😊 I’ve never actually attempted to work jasmine stitch on top of another, different stitch - as it is worked using a foundation row of puff stitches instead of a traditional starting chain, I’m not sure how well it would work. I think I would try working a row of puff stitches in top of your rows of SC and then attempt the jasmine stitch, but you may be best off working it as a separate piece and seaming it together.
Beautiful stitch! I love your videos, your instructions are wonderful. I am getting space in between the puffs. Is that a side effect of too much tension?
I keep trying this lovely stitch but no matter how many times I watch these videos for the Jasmin stitch, one end keeps increasing size. Can you please help?
Hi Pamela, I have a written tutorial for this here which might help you: ecs.page.link/9PCQZ I would have a practise by making a small sample piece first to try and figure out where you're going wrong - it could be the turning puff stitch if it's increasing at one end? 🙂
Just a small note, at 5:15ish after working into the top of the puff stitch for the first petal you said you should have 4 loops on the hook which is wrong there are 5 on the hook at that point. I only point it out because I was like "wait did I fuck up twice now? No, there are 5 loops on her hook, guess it was a whoops"
This is definitely a tricky stitch that can take some practise, but you will get there 😊 Make sure your loops aren't too tight, and then angle your hook downwards and keep it really straight as you pull through.
As always, you provide clear, well paced instructions. I was daunted when google told me this was the hardest crochet stitch but you made it so straightforward.
Glad it was helpful :)
Thank you. I'm doing a bulky cushion cover. Absolutely love what you have shown us ❤️
You are very welcome :)
I'm making a baby blanket with this stitch. It's an absolute yarn eater! The blanket will be super plush and lovely though.

The color of your yarn is perfect for this stitch because it kind of resembles the color ofPrincess Jasmine's outfit from Disney's Aladdin (1992).
Love it! I'm an intermediate crocheter and it's a joy and good challenge to learn new stitches!
Thank you :)
You're an awesome teacher! I am a first time crocheter and your videos are perfect for someone that really needs all the details :)
Thank you so much, glad they have been of help to you :)

Woohoo love new stitches :)
Hi!! I want to use this pattern to make a tote bag from 3 rectangular pieces. Is it possible to just slip stitch everything together? Thanks!!
Very pretty
Thank you :)
Beautiful stitch! I love your videos, your instructions are wonderful.
I am getting space in between the puffs. Is that a side effect of too much tension?
Thank you 😊 If you are getting gaps I would suggest going down a hook size - I wouldn't have thought it's due to tension.
Do you think this stitch would be good for a vest? I would use a worsted weight yarn or bulky
What type of projects would this stitch suit?
Love this. Thank you
You're very welcome 🙂
Could you use this stitch to make a baby blanket? BEAUTIFUL stitch
Yes, it would make a beautiful baby blanket I think 🙂
@@bellacococrochet Thank you for letting me know. Have a wonderful day. ( Donna Weiss💜)
It intimidates me, but I think I am going to try it. Maybe a coffee cozy for something small.
What a good idea! A little mug rug would be adorable in this stitch too. I might make one now. Thanks for the inspiration!
I hope someday you’ll just sell your crochet hooks! I so want them!
Luv it💕 can u give pointers on boarders pattern.....?
Here is the link to my border tutorials:- ua-cam.com/users/results?search_query=bella+coco+borders I hope these help :)
I’ve made a baby blanket in white and mint. But I’d like to make a border, what one can I do?
You can find some of my favourite borders here: blog.bellacococrochet.com/crochet-borders/ 😊 A puff edging might work well with the jasmine stitch.
Where did you get your crochet hook!? I absolutely love it! :) and beautiful stitch. I’ll be trying it soon.
This hook is exclusive to the subscription boxes and thank you :)
Could you make a video of how to increase and decrease with this stitch?
Hi Amber I will add this request to my list of possible future tutorials, thank you for taking the time to ask for this 🙂
I keep trying this lovely stitch but no matter how many times I watch these videos for the Jasmin stitch, one end keeps increasing size. Can you please help?

I only point it out because I was like "wait did I fuck up twice now? No, there are 5 loops on her hook, guess it was a whoops"
Yes, I should have said 5 loops, thanks for pointing this out! 😊 I'll add a correction to the notes under the tutorial.
Hi , can you please make a totu for how to make a mobile's cover back only , thank you
You are perfect, as usual. 0:43
I'm really struggling with pulling through the 13 loops on the first row :( I don't know how to get it all the way through without dropping loops 😭
This is definitely a tricky stitch that can take some practise, but you will get there 😊 Make sure your loops aren't too tight, and then angle your hook downwards and keep it really straight as you pull through.
Love it but it's to hard
You have to remember that crochet is practice and patience, don't give up keep trying and it will get easier :)
Ain't nobody got time for that
Great tutorial thank you, but my holes in between he flowers is rather large, and distorts the patten, how can I stop this plz?
You're welcome 😊 Have you tried going down a hook size to see if this helps?
