the devs of onset adventure have said the reason why they have moved to another engine is because roblox studio had too many limits. 2 other things. Pyrite Adventure 1 or 2 aren't made in the same engine as onset adventure, pyrite adventure 3 is being made in the onset adventure engine. Also the sa2 inspired game you made was also made in the onset adventure engine, which is called the digital swirl engine, which is actually public now.
