Yeah, Roblox being a 3D game engine gives it alot of potential. People judge roblox and call it an idiot game for kids without actually trying good stuff like the VR games, Arsenal, or even a full minecraft remake thats on it. Roblox is the perfect definition of dont judge a book by its cover

So, no, they didn't build it out of simple bricks, it's probably the actual Unleashed model that was ported.

its barely even a race, like yeah you run in a place and theres rankings, but you dont really do much, and sonic speed simulator doesnt even have much in general, its just like any other simulator but with more love put into it than usual with 1 or 2 sonic features added in
Classic Sonic Simulator is definitely one of the best Sonic fangames made in Roblox. On the surface most of the levels are spam levels and roleplays, but there are some really talented level creators that make the game very enjoyable and fun to play 👍
I recommend playing the good ones: Sonic Onset Adventure Sonic Eclipse (although the creator is a terrible person) Classic Sonic Simulator V9 that's about it
I was gonna add Sonic Expedition but now they've downgraded the game to the point where it's just one small map and it's not even worth playing anymore

The Unleashed Sonic model looks so good because it's literally the Sonic model ripped from Unleashed. It's actually got the highest polygon count of any Sonic model across every game - even those that came out after Unleashed.

Man, Roblox has changed a lot since I stopped playing it ages ago. Back then, all the 'games' made with it played exactly the same. Usually being the same 3 'game modes' with them either being based off the show Wipeout (obstacle courses), being RP centric, or being clicker styled idle games. Now I see them recreating mechanics from Sonic games and not gonna lie... this kind of makes me want to unironically play Roblox again.
as for the model in sonic world adventure, you can import models you made into roblox studio (which is what’s used to develop roblox games) they’re know as meshes iirc
A sonic roblox game I would recommend is Poly sonic RP. Its a role play like pulse, but there are multiple maps, many characters, countless things to do, and the people there are usually very welcoming.
You can press Shift to run faster than you normally can in Sonic Pulse btw And also, to get to S rank (in Sonic World Adventure) you have to get SCORE, not TIME. (e.g. getting Rings increases your score)
You should play Pyrite Adventure 2, it's not exactly Sonic, but it is essentially a Sonic Adventure game with original characters and a story, there's also battle mode, and Pyrite Adventure 3 has been greenlit.
Just so you know, Sonic Roblox Blast is a reference to Sonic Robo Blast 2: a Sonic fan game that uses the Doom engine. Yes: that Doom. The one with the extream gore and violence. That's why it has the Tank Controls.
If you want to play like Complete sonic games on roblox, I highly recommend Sonic Pyrite adventure. Its Like sonic adventure but, ofc in roblox. It has a full on story mode and with diffrent episodes. Next vid, You will be suprised if you play it. Its AMAZING. Edit= Im an idiot. Its called Sonic Pyrite Adventure 2.
You should play the Pyrite Adventure games and Gear Riders. They aren't games with Sonic characters, but the gameplay is similar to Sonic 06 and Sonic Adventure, and the second one is similar to Sonic Riders.

Roblox uses the Lua coding platform and that is advanced on it's own, and the updates to the development program it uses has really evolved since 2010. With meshes, functions and more, you can also import 3D models from the famous modeler Blender, explains the good models.

roblox added 'skinned-meshes' where the character is just one mesh, but the mesh can be deformed for smoother animations.
