What does it mean when all 4 lights on battery flash but then turn off

Battery has 4 red lights on battery and when plugged into charger. What can the problem be? I have found out that a replacement battery costs more than the complete machine. Not even been used for a total of 10 hours over 3 years. Not very good for a "high quality and cost" tool

We bought a weed eater and a hedge trimmer last fall. So not very old. The battery chargers (both) will not come on and charge the batteries. Any suggestions?? Both batteries are AK10s that came with each product. Thanks in advance.

It turns off but do not leave ot sitting on charger. Remove it when it's done

The batteries are rubbish. I regret buying STIHL battery tools.

al500 fast charger is trash, the batteries are tra
