Oh they will be. They only have a few EPs out right now, and they're already touring different countries. I saw them in Phoenix and a good majority of the crowd was singing along. So I can only imagine how strong their fanbase is in L.A, New York, and other countries. I give them 10 years to play in slightly larger venues. 25 years at most for stadiums & arenas. I remember seeing Muse at the Marquee Theater in Phoenix in 2004. Now 2019, they are really going all out with their fucking stadiums.

I been making bass music the last 10 years or so which involves a tonne of sound design which can be quite the graft. I’m really contemplating dropping it all and making Synthwave music. Everything about all this stuff hits my heart with a passion. I listen to all kinds of stuff but in all honesty this and FM84 , WOLFCLUB etc is the first time in maybe 20 years that I have that “FEELING” in my stomach when I listen to this. I know that it’s not gonna be some major chart success music for me or many of these bands but I’m starting to believe that it can have its core audience and fans who will always support it cos it’s good music. Because appreciating pop is often frowned upon, while there is plenty of pop music that is very well crafted. Synthwave is also a very wide genre, from very hard to "nobody will bat an eye if this is played on the radio". I regularly visit metal concerts and listen to a lot of metal but I won't identify myself as a metalhead because I do not agree with a lot of the attitudes and dogmas within the metal scene.
i dont get it: why they are still performing in front of 100-200 people, they should fill the stadium with 50k, this music is dope, Berlin 2019 is waiting for you!!!
kwonas83 id rather have them perform in smaller crowds sold out 3 times a day, there’s no way I would get the same experience being this close from a stadium concert
Within a span of one year I saw them play a sold out show (one of I think three) at The Independent in SF (capacity ~500) to the Fox Theater in Oakland (capacity ~3,000). They said that was their biggest venue to date. That is an incredible increase in venue quality too. The Independent is meh when it comes to sound and ambiance. The Fox on the other hand, is world-class.

They had a different sax guy called Jacob who is absolutely amazing. Search "The Midnight - Sunset [LIVE IN STOCKHOLM SÖDRA TEATERN]" on UA-cam. I have no idea why they didn't keep him on.

What a drag the guitar solo wasn’t even loud on the PA....but as usual the midnight is so into the music the crowd doesn’t skip a beat. This band has been life changing and they are the most incredible artist out in the ages of our generation. If you know the midnight as a band be fortunate , it’s not everyday your blessed to hear music with such PASSION!

I hate how producers of current pop stars like Justin Bieber are now taking this style rather than actually promoting the real artists behind this movement from The Midnight to FM-84. I can never forgive them.

Those guys wasn't aware what privilege they had to watch The Midnight live. In my country, people can only dream to see them one day in live concert.
The excess of backtracks and some guys pretending to play still bothers me in their live performance. But their music is phenomenal.
