Messmer is my new favorite character in Elden Ring. His OST, his appearance, his lore, and that voice: Messmerizing. You can tell they spent so much time refining his design. I had high expectations for him and I was still amazed. I’ve been so compelled to look for items out in the Shadow Realm that tell me more about him. He’s what really sold this expansion for me.

See what I mean? U showed Messmer who's bosssss, hell yeah haha GGs. Glad u were able to get the stupid hippo too lmao. I need to tryout the dual blade build, seeing u fuck Messmer up made wanna do it to lol. I killed him with a big ass katana u find next to a zombie dragon in a lake, I think? Yeah, it's a GREAT weapon once u get used to it & use a proper ash of war, loads of fun fr, the reach is INSANE. Nevertheless, it was NOT that effective against Messmer, that mofo was fast AF. I had to learn every single move & not fuck up one single bit ☠ It was a rush tbh, it felt amazing once I was done with his ass lmfao. Anyways, W playthru so far, been lovin it hehe 💯
seems to me, when faced with hippo-rhino-pine, move like your only true goal in life is to nestle in one of its front armpits. behind its maw safer than 15 feet out front. as a bonus, you'll sometimes see wtf it's doing.

Loving Julia's playthrough as always, but I gotta say I feel like I'm playing a different game than most people. I'm breezing through this whole DLC and most bosses with a new character and the most basic strength + dex build, just swinging at them with Bloodhound's Fang +10. And I'm not trying to brag, on the contrary, I suck. And of course I use Mimic Tear for boss fights after a few solo attempts which I fail miserably. But after seeing all of the comments and reviews talking how hard the DLC it is, I just don't get it... I had a lot more trouble with the base game.
Yeah because those people dont use mimic...
It also depends on if you're playing on NG+ or not. I started the DLC on NG+5 at level 270 with 80 vigor and I was getting one-shot by most bosses until I got like 5 Tree Fragments!
