22' HONDA CRF450RL LIGHT MOTOCROSS TRACK TEST! | Riding Highland Park Off Road Resort's MX2 Track

After equipping the Honda CRF450RL with some appropriate motocross wheels and tires, we visited Highland Park Off Road Resort in Cedartown Georgia for a day of trail riding and all of the motocross track riding we could handle! This was a perfect opportunity for me to ease into riding the RL on a track, as we basically had the whole place to ourselves. I didn't have to worry about keeping a fast pace and I could just take it easy, gradually pushing the bike to see what it did, how it handled, and IF it could handle the track.
While the track were really tame, they were actually perfect for the big RL! The jumps were not extreme of sketchy at all, and the bike handled them fairly well! I could definitely feel that the suspension is a bit too soft for track with bigger jumps, but it handled the jumps on the MX2 track well and I only bottomed the front one time when I slightly overjumped a tabletop. While the track was super slick and muddy, the Dunlop tires on my new Faster USA wheels gripped well and helped keep the bike under control.

Saying CRF450 RL and the word light do not go together. That bike is way more heavy than any other 450 made. That’s it’s downfall, otherwise it would be not bad.
