Decel pops are gone completely with the Graves block off plate. Best $30 I spent. Vortex ECU with a G2 throttle tamer really makes the bike so much more enjoyable.
Tokyo mods now offering ÉCU Programming service for $200. You’re lucky you got it free! I purchased the bike used with the Vortex on it I have the decel backfire pop pop pop, same as yours was so pretty sure I need the updates.
It was only a matter of time! :D I do a lot of desert/mountain riding on mine and the Vortex really helped with pulling from low RPM when going up a hill or something gnarly. Easier power control, a little helping taming this beast.
Hi there, running the Vortex and full FMF Q4 exhaust on my '23 CRF450RL. The ONLY issue I have consistently with the Vortex is restarting the bike when it's hot. I ride a lot solo off road in Western CO and this past weekend got clenched as it was struggling to start after a 5 min food break and I was way out in the mountains. Thanks for reading, any feedback greatly appreciated!
It's a great ECU but the advantages of the GET w WiFi is a game changer. Being able to monitor, read codes, calibrate, etc is amazing and the TacoMoto tunes are just perfect. 2 maps available at all times make things pretty amazing on the fly. Either way you got a great deal and enjoy your content.
I just found a second hand Vortex! I’m excited to get it installed. I’m also completely stock and it shows a stock map on the vortex sheet. I don’t think you mentioned it but any noticeable power increase?
@@TyScott85 Nice! I haven't noticed anything substantial, perhaps a little bit but the biggest thing I notice is the smoother roll-on and roll-off of the throttle.

I'll have to test out the low end torque if I ever get to putting the off road tires back on it!

Maybe in another 5 years when the GET unit is secondhand I'll snatch one up.
You can get a 2 position toggle switch from taco moto or vortex to go from 2 different maps. I have a taco switch and it works great!
I'm gonna be a bougie prick and buy one of the GET ecus lol@@lexdfox
When you get the adapter for the 12 o’clock mini gauge will you please do a full installation tutorial! Loving the content.
I have that filmed and will be out soon!
@@lexdfox you’re the best!
If i wanted to get the ecu and not the exhast can i get the exaust map later on?
I noticed that the engine run a lot cooler too, have you found the temp indicator on the gauge?
I had the 12 o'clock labs gauge previously which had engine Temps, will be getting it adapted to work with the vortex so I'll see soon!
@@lexdfoxI see, please share the figures again at your convenience cheers!

Daaang! Where did you find it? I’m also on the hunt!
It was from the CRF450L Owners Group on FB, but yeah I was on the hint for a while!
