I met Meat Loaf in Birmingham on this tour. He was an amazingly generous person with his time and made it all about us fans. I said to him that For Crying Out Loud was my most favourite song ever recorded by anyone. He said thank you and that it was his favourite song ever too! I told him that when it came to this song in the set that I was gonna be a mess because, like him, this song always makes me cry because of the raw emotion in the lyrics and performance. He said that he would be a mess too and said that he would be a mess before the song started. I bet him I would be a mess first. He bet me I wouldn't. As soon as Justin played the very first note, I was sobbing uncontrollably and watching this great man tell the story prior to the song was like trying to watch this video underwater. He did look over and nod to me before he started singing. I cried until the very first note of Anything For Love was played and then I was somewhere else with Meat and the band. I have yet to thank him for that night. It was a night I will never forget and think about everyday.
