    @EtacudeEnglishTeachers, Thank you, I have been teaching ESL for 12 years and to this day, I STILL get nervous about demo lessons! Sometimes it's "What material is appropriate for this level/age group?", while other times it's finding a fun and memorable game/activity to do. However, I'm beginning to venture into demo classes for adults, so it's more challenging finding age appropriate activities that aren't just "head shoulders knees and toes". It would be awesome if you could do a video for activities geared towards adult ESL students.

    With who was your interview if you don't mind me asking.

    • @etacude
      @etacude  4 роки тому

      Hi Theresa, good questions. Since the interview is meant for a single or group of interviewers, you most likely will be doing the interview with them. I would actually add student feedback during the lesson, even if it is fake feedback it will demonstrate your ability to help learners during a real class. So act as if a student made a mistake and give them immediate feedback even if you don't have a student. You can also give "student feedback" at the end of the lesson to solidify what you taught. I hope you understand what I mean. :)
      The interview was for a winter English camp.

    • @theresapaulse877
      @theresapaulse877 4 роки тому

      @@etacude Thank you. I think I will do feedback during the lesson. That actually seems like the more appealing option. I might also have to conduct a lesson about the cinema. I'm just confused as to how to pitch this topic on an intermediate and upper level. There seems to be varying options about what is suitable for upper and intermediate English teaching. I really don't want my lesson to come across as too simple. Any advice? Sorry to ask. I'm just extremely nervous. It will be my first interview for online teaching.
