GOD BLESS AND THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!
Your show is better than the bassmaster show's on ESPN or any fishing show!
WAAAAAAAAAAY better!
For sure!
I agree.
At anytime while I’m driving, I can turn to my kids and say “go fission when you can!” and all 4 will yell back In their best Elmo voice “because it’s good fer ya!!”
Also go fusion when you can!
Fission?
And why an Elmo voice?
@@michaelg8841 Elmo his alter ego! Not Elmo from Sesame Street if you were wondering.
I have a little favorite creek here in TN that reminds me a whole lot of where you are at right here in this video. A buddy and me used to go to it all the time in the summer and wade fishing all day long in the hot dog days. Until about a month ago I hadn't been in 13 yrs. I had told my lady many stories about it but finally took her and my daughter. They had a ball and since that day we have been twice more. lol Only a true country boy knows there is no time better spent then in a beautiful creek like this or on a fall ridge top at sunrise during the rut. How on earth can so many people live in a high rise in a crowded city, it is not what God intended. Richard I am a long time viewer of ol' John Null and was turned on to you from him. Really enjoy your channel brother, we have a lot in common. Please tell ol' Elmer howdy. lol Be safe and God bless!
I swear that Richard could tie a rock on the end of his line ..and he'd be able to catch a fish on it.
A Jedi Master of all things Fishing ..for sure
Right? Surprised he didn't catch the mythical creek crappie in a bare hook. Only gene
When he caught that giant sunfish. The pure joy in his voice when as he was unhooking it he said “I wouldn’t hurt you for anything in the world” I immediately subscribed. This man is a fucking treasure 🙏❤️
Dear Richard, It breaks my heart that we don't have such creeks here in central Florida. Our lakes are fabulous here in Seminole County. I catch bluegill, redbreast, and occasionally a warmouth or green sunfish. Can't complain too much.... Blessings to you and Momma Sue. Keep those videos coming cause" they gooood fer me" Orlando Ron
I am sad that this channel was over 5 years old before I was blessed with the knowledge it existed. Love the channel and all the folks that make it happen. Thanks for sharing your time with me Richard!
Thanks for being family friendly! We keep your videos running on our tv non-stop!
Been watch u for over a yr now. I truly enjoy watching u and Elmo lmao.
Elmo!!!
Who is Elmo?
@@jackfanning7952 its richards alter ego..
@@ThatTechJunkie I like Richard. I am not sure about Elmo.
Makes my morning whenever I wake up to a new upload of yours. Thanks for taking us along, Richard.
Amen , I second that emotion 😁
That's one of prettiest creeks and some of the prettiest fish I've seen in a long time. Well done Richard.
I'm in Tuscaloosa and I watch a lot of videos on fishing in our area. You definitely catch fish more consistently than anyone I know, and you obviously love it. Your videos are awesome. Keep it up brother! When I get skunked during these Dog Days of the Alabama summer I can still count on coming home and watching you reel em in.
Nothing in the world like fishing in a creek 👍🏻👍🏻 Loved the video as always Brother!!!!
As I sit here in Northern Indiana I think to myself how blessed you folks down south are !
Were getting snow and more snow for the next few days, the lakes are froze over and yet here i am still living here.
My 3 top lures for creeks and rivers that I still use from my childhood are rooster tail spinners. Rebel crickhopper and the Good ol yum grub' great video gene keep on fishin
Thanks Richard. Enjoyed this video. Reminds me of my home fishing area. I have never seen you come across a snake but here we are loaded with moccasins and have to really watch it.
Richard Gene...how is it that I can watch your 24 minute video in 5 minutes??? That's surely how it feels! Keep up the great work...
How don't you have 1 million subscribers yet
It's a mystery
So much respect for you Mr Gene. Not only a fishing machine but also a great conservationist.
I didn’t want this video to end! What a beautiful location, great tips, and thrilling commentary.
Yayyy another video!!! At almost 3am Wow. YOUR THE BEST RICHARD!!!!
The 2 inch floating Rapala has always ben my go to bait. I have also caught a lot of blue gill/ green sunfish hybreds in creeks in North West Arkansas.
Pure fishing knowledge. Love it Mr. FishingMachine. Come to south western Virginia and make a video. You'd love to fish the river systems here, full of those aggressive small mouth and pan fish!
This is the first video I ever saw of Richard's and it really reignited my love for fishing. I've been going out the last week or so and today I caught 35 Panfish and Bass. Love these video's.
Love ur content, videos, mannerisms and sense of humor. Glad u keep grinding out the videos! I really enjoy watching u fish, reminds me of fishing with my Dad when I was younger!
Man that smallie scared that fluke plumb up that line.....lol. Great video my friend.
My heart melts every time I see a big creek like that. Makes you want to be there. I think I’m going fishing in the morning, because it’s Gooood fer me!
Creeks are the best!! Getting your feet wet, catching little guys and a few big ones ALL DAY! Being one with nature...making me wanna hit the Appomattox River today!!! First time watcher here, hitting the subscribe button!
That is one beautiful creek!!! Thanks for showing this type of fishing. I learn something new from every one of your videos. Keep the great videos coming!!!
Basically my exact set up for small water fishing. Except it is Berkeley cherrywood 5.6 and a shimano sienna 500. Sure is fun reeling in bass with it.
This guy should be the biggest UA-cam fisherman out there! His commentary is Golden!
That last smallmouth was a golly whopper in a little creek like that. Beautiful. Great video Mr Gene.
I'm 14 and have been taking notes on a creak that leads to a small river and I've noticed that I've caught more fish on live baits and food like marshmallows, corn, and bread than I have with artificial or soft plastics. Enjoyed the video. Maybe one day I'll start my own channel.
Man I've been kayak fishing this river and catching fish everyday for a week now. When I get done, I binge watch your videos.
Its so nice to see someone get excited about some nice sunfish.
What a pretty creek you have there! And it grows good fish, too. Tell Elmo to bring along a smart phone so he can watch Little House while you’re fishing.
I would love to fish that creek
Thank you mr. Gene for always creating great content that is not only entertaining but also educational I learn something new about fishing every time I watch one of your videos.
Nothing better than A WHATABURGER and creek fishing. Wonderful !!
This is a show that is second to none....in my opinion!
I LOVE watching this guy!!!! Just the right amount of goofy to make it entertaining and lighthearted (light a favorite uncle), just enough instruction to actually learn some things, and pick up some great tips, and the tips, tricks, and gear don't require a professional sponsorship to afford, or exclusive access and paid guides to use successfully, and there's enough action to keep you coming back for more.
@extremephillyfishing intro and Richard Gene’s outro absolutely best on you tube, another 🔥video!
This is one great day of fishing. You're a really smart guy, and I appreciate how much of a conservationist you truly are. RTR.
I've had that rapala lure for years, Gene. I've even caught catfish off that thing.
whats it called i wanna try it out
Favorite video so far, I love this channel....twitch....twitch twitch and then a twitch twitch
Richard Gene I'm grateful for all of your fishing videos Enjoy watching whenever I can
I recently moved to the Midwest near the Mississippi. Came from the Rocky Mountains. I’ve been fishing more and more seriously, I am by no means a good angler. I find your videos extremely informative and entertaining. You are my favorite I’ve found on UA-cam. Keeper up good buddy.
I love the videos you make. I can see the passion you put into your videos and fishing as a hobby.
Love the profile pic.
I use a chrome bait from Artie just like the plug you used for redbreasts, except it has a bb in it as well. Get them at Walmart. I have caught bream, redbreasts, crappie, catfish, bass, trout. Last fall, I caught a 15” crappie on it. Great video.
My wife loves those, she catches everything with them
OK, it's 3 in the morning and 3 hours until sunrise and the coffee is made and the boat is loaded and it may rain a bit today. I'm ready, the fish are ready so here we go. Have a great day on a river near you. I'm fishing the Northwest River in Chesapeake Virginia this morning. It's a tidal river. Here fishy, fishy, fishy.
I bought several of the original rapala baits after watching this and all I can say is I had no idea they would work as well as they do, I enjoy watching your videos, even if I'm having a bad day you brighten up my mood, i hope I get the pleasure of meeting you some day, I'm not too far from you at all over here in limestone county, keep doing what you love!
Respects and appreciates nature, doesn't put on an act and a heck of an angler! Best fishing channel.
I love your videos, Richard. They are so wholesome and relaxing, and I've learned so much from them. On days I can't get out on the water, I 'feesh' vicariously through you.
How very blessed you are that you have so many great places to go fishing at. I could literally spend a week camping and fishing at this specific creek. U.S. Army, Ret. TX
I wish your videos were 4 hours long so I wouldn't have to search for other videos of the same quality to get me through!!! Great video man I love it!!
Richard Gene videos make your day so much better. I'm addicted to them.
oh yea, that Mepps minnow with the spinner is good also in the spring. I never had much success with artificial in the creeks. Only in the spring. they chase it but don't hit when they are ready to commit. Better in the early fall.
Thank goodness for you and Elmo when he can show up!
Richard, I just want to tell you how much enjoyment your channel brings me! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and your fantastic personality! You are the best! Keep up the great work! God Bless! 🇺🇸
Your a funny dude mean gene.. love this spot. I the first video I saw of u u were there. 2 words beauty n your right perfection. God bless ya. I love your videos. Peace. From New Jersey.
I love these creek fishing adventures! Been watching them all day.
Those two baits are in my top 3 for river and creek fishing. Those Rebel crawdad plugs fits in the list of those top three. I use the red, moss Green and the light brown one. You should try you one of those next time you go creek fishing.
You are also an Educator, Richard Gene!! And a dang good one at that. You make it fun and simple. Thank you for sharing your video. Fish On!!
This makes me want to skip work for the day..great video thanks
“I want my bait back” those words have come out my mouth before. Awesome video man.
WOW, super nice Blue Gills! Love those Pflueger Reels.
Thanks Gene you have too much fun fishing, that's the way it's supposed to be, just you & the fish. (I haven't thought about creek fishing for years till now)
Beautiful spot, beautiful fish, great day, Richard! thanks for this.
Those green sunfish have an awesome color pattern. Love using a small rapala for trout. Great vid RG!
Another great video ! Great to mix it up between creeks, rivers, lakes and different tactics for each.
Something for everyone and always good fish. And you are right ... Fishin' is good fer ya !
Very nice creek video, kids really enjoyed it as well thank you sir.
My Dad taught me how to use one of those when I was really young. We used to go around at this pond he fished when he was a kid. Awesome times.
Great one Gene, love the creek fishing
RICHARD GENE THE FISHING MACHINE!!! I love you man
That’s the kind of fishing do most. When I can I put my kayak on the water but this kind of creek fishing is my jam! Thanks for sharing ‼️🎣

You are the best Richard!! Just for your information i have already picked out 47 bigfeet /woodboogers! You think those are trees, stumps and rocks but Nooooo, its bigfeets.
Would love to spend a day on the water with you!!! Can't wait for the next video!!!
Much respect RGTFM. This creek and the fish you caught are beautiful, or as you said; perfection. Thank you so much for taking us along. Reminds me of creek fishing with my dad and I miss those days so much.
Loved it I grew up creek fishing right here in North Alabama and really enjoy your creek video's
RG......the Man, the Myth, the Legend.
Loved this video. Brings back memories of creek fishing when I was a teenager. But that was forty something years ago. More things to do added to my bucket list. Oh well. Keep up the good work. Take care little brother.
Good stuff, Richard! Your vids are the best: informative, entertaining and visually appealing! Keep it up! I trust you'll share with Elmo the great time he could have had!
Love catchin the pan fish on light tackle. They are scrappy as all get out, beautiful to look at, and fry up real nice.
Gene, I'm a California fisherman, I love all your videos and the clearity. Keep coming,
P.S. "REEL HOOKERS in JC"
Oh, yeah did the book get written: Where's Elmo and the moonshine?
What amazing scenery and those Redbreast ,think I need to go fishing in the morning..
Watched many of your vids recently & learned a lot & it's clear that you enjoy fishing, but it's also obvious that you love the fish! Thank you for sharing your experience & experiences.
What a beautiful creek full of fish! I envy you getting to fish there, Gene. Thanks for the vid'.
Wish we had creeks like that down here in Southeast Georgia, only creeks we have are tidal creeks and they ain't worth a damn for that type of fishing, Guess I need to move up North. Take Care My Friend, Stay Safe, Be Well, Mac
Love binge watching your videos. Learn something new in everyone.
Your videos remind me why I love fishing! So much wisdom and passion.
Great video man my son woke me up and seen your new video got excited yewww can't Waite for the next video keep slaying them fish
Great vid Richard, you jus taught me how to use that rapalu... You have a new subscriber. Keep reeling em in, I'll be watching.
Johnny Findley Same.. I’ve had that little rapala in chart for years and never used it. Just tossed it on my creek pole
It’s funny how big of a mouth the green sunfish have too. First time I caught one I didn’t know what it was that was years ago. They taste good too. To this day I’m pretty sure I’ve never even caught a redbreast sunfish before. And that Sasquatch doing some wood knocking too better watch out 😂 Ha ha And I believe I’ve watched every single episode of The Walton’s lol good show. Good fishing Richard!!!
Absolutely love these videos. Described last week and I have been on a binge watching Rampage 4 days now. Love it. And yes, I think you had Sasquatch in the woods, just an old Bigfoot hanging around. Love those guys unless they're mad. Lol stay safe God bless
Another great video.Love them flukes Richard caught tons of Smalljaws on the river over the years.
I agree. I start out almost every fishing day with that bait.
Some beautiful scenery there!
