Dang - tough crowd. As of today, just over 25% of the "like or dislike" crowd disliked the video. Personally, I liked it. Ronnie B the Prospector showed us some compleeetely real-world mechanical challenges, took us on a fun departure to clean the truck's wheel, then back to the repair. I came here because I saw an ad on FB marketplace here in the Seattle area for a 1994 Yamaha V-Max 600 snow machine with a bad clutch. They were asking $300, and I wanted to see what the clutch fix might entail. Good job, Ronnie B!
LMAO watching this video to learn how to clean and rebuild my 2005 rev clutch. "Clean your clutches every year!" 15 year old sled w/ 7000 miles and I've never cleaned or been inside my clutch. Just never had to and never knew how to either. Hoping to do it soon when I get a chance.
at 59:27 when you said "not forgetting nothing right" you forgot the washer on top of the socket you used when you took the clutch apart originally lol
Thought I was watching the red green show their for awhile. Ooo and those red rags suck and that one roller arm is sticky did I mention that it is really smooth and none of those move properly and he's going to have to clean those up. And did i mention that I keep repeating myself? 😆 LOL to funny. By the way you need a whole clutch kit. Just get the kit for your model and be done with then (it won't be a pain in the ass as you said) and clutch kits are around 300 bucks. You get rollers roller cams new roller pins primary spring and if your smart you will buy a new secondary spring cause they do sag over time and lose spring tension casing lazy shift back and fast shift out that causes engine bogging. Also buy roller pins that you can adjust the weights then you won't be so pissed off and aggravated or you could just stop working on snowmobiles. .

Why does the inside of the clutch matter to clean out? As long as the plates shiny who cares about the shit in between the ramp and the rollers lol
