I bought this as my beginner bike about a month ago now and absolutely love it. Though I have nothing to compare it to i agree with your points it’s very comfortable and easy to ride. I’m 6ft 2inches(187cm) and around 230lbs(104kg) and haven’t had any issues yet though I do plan on moving the seat back
in this vid you mentioned dropping the speedometer down more flush. I didn't see that in the vid. Is this something that can be done? mine seems fixed but I would like to drop id down a bit.
I am a beginner and I bought this particularly bike I’m 5,10 and I love this bike I was unsure when I bought this bike because of the cc 1200 for a beginner ummm but I feel very comfortable riding ….
Hey great review need some advice… had triumphs for years, and more than happy with the brand…. I have now a triumph storm and abs … and thought about upgrade to triumph rocket gt 221 due to discontinued storm…. Particularly as I am 6ft1… but then saw this bike… and this one has the bigger tank… any advice ?
Hi, well 2 completely different bikes if I can put it like that. Rocket 3 GT 221, which I have seen in the flesh, is a stunner but also the rocket is an insane crazy spectacular bike just WOW!!! 🤩 please see my video on that, one of my all time favourite bikes. This Bobber is cool personified, classic, nostalgic, everyday loads of fun and works like only a triumph of near perfect build quality of today even though an old school bike……. I’m sure I haven’t helped you 😂😂 but testride them both for yourself and I think you might go for the Rocket……
wow, triumph says the bonneville gives 60 mpg at least on the 2023 model! That's fantastic. The bike looks great but I'd ruin the bobber look by constantly having to take a backpack for work (laptop/clothes).
Thank you 🙏 I’m in South Africa and do films around the country, from Johannesburg to reviews in Cape Town. This one was done up here in Johannesburg 1500m altitude. In July I’ll be doing some filming in Italy and World Ducati Week and some bike museums if that would interest you 🤙👌
@@route21garage .. still don't think such a powerful, torquey bike is a good beginners bike. Also the riding position is not suited for beginners. But thhis is just my opinion.
Best buy ever

My next bike I'm having. It's proper stunning that
Currently getting my licence. I´m getting this as my first bike. Can´t drive a sport bike at the age of 47. Need something like the Bobber instead
Saw this exact bike in person last year planning on buying it or a newer one next year
Mick Doohan helmet? Not seen one for years. Like the Bobber, nice bike

It can be dropped down, if you go to 3:50 in the video you will see me flip it down on the quick release lever behind the clock 👍🏻
When you get off of this bike does the front-end lock so you can't steal it

>1000cc cruiser motorcycles aren't the same as 1000cc sport bikes. the latter is absolutely not for beginners lol

Nice review. One question; how tall are you? Might get one of these but don’t want to be cramped. Not that I’m big mind you at 181cm
Thank you so much. I am 181cm and when you adjust the seat I was super comfy and feeling cool 😎👌

Chain looks loose. Does it back
slap?
Nice review! What country is this?

230kg as a beginners bike is a bit of a challenge
Centre of Gravity is super low and so is the seat height 👍🏻 gives a good feel of being in charge
