Doing an “ftp” test with damper 10 is crazy. Having an rpm lower than 75 will suck your energy which is why you typically are 85+ for an FTP. Staying in the saddle is best and being on the horn and over the pedals is best. Leaning forward is good too since HR is lower than sitting up. Even with all the little bits of help this is rough and any pro cyclist would hate doing it at such a slow cadence.

Agreed it’s boring but it’s a great test of fitness to see how much power you can output in a long time domain. Boring to watch but will separate the athletes a lot. Sort of like Chad that’s hella boring but a solid test

What’s the reason for having the dampers all set to 10?
Makes it more unknown to the athletes. -> Non typical FTp test
I’d assume to force them into lactate faster and make it more of a muscle fatigue test than a engine test

They are all concept2 bikes, some just have added branding covering where the concept 2 sticker usually is.
