Wow what a cracking session fish galore two wet but happy looking fishermen and Jasper a very nice and polite young man keep the videos coming Paul, thanks👏🎣👏
Hi Martin one of those magical days and hardly noticed the rain. Made all those blanks disappear into the back of my mind and loved every minute of it. We’re also lucky with the weed as Selsey can be quite challenging and topped of by meeting Jasper a fisherman of the future. Thanks for watching and commenting cheers Paul next trip is Shoreham 👍👍👍
Lovely video again Paul. Bream and Bass are great eating fish , but they need to be a reasonable size. What a charming young man, and how excited he will be when he sees himself on UA-cam. Stay safe and tight lines. Mike.
Hi Mike and thanks for watching and the great comments and bream and bass do taste good and remind of times when I could go to Portugal and eat them cooked over charcoal in beach restaurants. Jasper made my day as he was so enthusiastic about life and fish 🐠 take care and happy fishing cheers Paul 👍👍👍👍
Looks like you had a good day there Paul despite the weather. I used to catch plenty of Bream from my boat but never from the shore, well done! I would definitely keep a few of your catch to meet my friends butter and parsley in the oven :-)
Hi Richard hope all good with you? Am sitting in office looking out at the rain and planning to go to Shoreham this weekend with Andy. It was one of those days where it all went crazy with a bite a cast, plus one or two fish which certainly makes a change for me lol 😂 don’t know what to expect at Shoreham maybe something different 🤞🤞take care Paul 👍👍
Hi Graham aka bass guy, sorry to hear about the blank and I know how frustrating it can be with all the preparation, travelling etc. The bass was totally unexpected and was not fishing for them but grateful to catch one. One of those rare days when the fish were consistently biting. Thanks for the nice comments and watching my video take care cheers Paul 👍👍🐟
Hi Gavin thanks for the great comment and for watching someone who is not the best fisherman but full of enthusiasm. All came together on that day and possibly a combination of weather, tide and being in the right spot. Stay safe cheers Paul 👍👍🐠🐟
Hi fish head I like to reply to all comments and for whatever reason missed your comment just seen it and really appreciated you watching and commenting my apologies for not replying sooner take care Paul 👍👍🐠🐠
Morning paul , a good day at the office for you . Pleased you both was hitting the fish. Makes up for those blanks. I was out early yesterday morning and blanked again. I did enjoy it though .apart from bladder rack an hour either side of high. There was no wind ,the sun was out . I was the only angler there so i thought i they saying something to me. It does fish alot better from september to march in the humber. The young lad jasper looks like a charactor haha. I got my second pfizer jab last sunday . All the best paul from GY.
Hi Carl and morning to you. Sitting here doing spreadsheets 😆 but nice and cool. Sorry to hear about blank and can be ruddy frustrating when we look forward to getting out and catching something. It was one of those one off days where it was a bite a cast and did not show every fish but between us 27 caught and we are off to Shoreham this weekend to try and catch something a bit different. Am also double jabbed and gives a bit more confidence when going out. Jasper was a great young fisherman of the future and had boundless enthusiasm. Cheers from down south and take care Paul 👍👍
Hi Neil so did I and am hoping to get out on a boat again. Cheers for watching and commenting. Am heading to Shoreham near the harbour this weekend after something other than bream lol cheers Paul 👍👍👍
David what can I say, you have made my evening. What a kind thing to say. Last weekend rubbish weather went fishing but no video as sea raging and howling wind. 4 of us and all blanked. This weekend all to play for am going further afield to Ramsgate with Andy and fingers are crossed 🤞 take care 👍👍🎣🎣
Just started cleaning my sea Roads and rails haven't fish for about 40 years but I am looking forward to starting again in the summer Videos like yours have really got me going again
@@davidtaylor1034 Hi David like you didn’t fish for many years as family and work came along and did not have enough time to focus on fishing and life generally with all the attendant ups and downs. Now my kids are grown up came back to my passion as promised myself many years ago that if I had time would not squander it watching tv and drinking beer.😂 Really chuffed that my videos have inspired you to come back to fishing. I find it smoothes out all the stresses in my daily life as soon as I am on the beach with fish as a bonus and really love it 👍🎣🎣🎣
Good session Paul 😄 nice bream! Hope your mate gets better soon, I just got my Jab not so long ago and feel fantastic! Take care and catch more bream 🤙
Hi Kent thanks for watching and hopefully get to see Ross soon. Have had two jabs and feel a little happier about going out and about. Certainly makes a change for me to catch a few fish and let’s hope it continues to happen 😂 stay safe and hope the unrest over your side of the water gets better cheers Paul 👍
Absolutely cracking session Paul, certainly makes up for any blanks you've had in the past , well done , I can't wait to get out a do a bit of fishing myself , great vid and as always be lucky 👍
Thanks for watching and really uplifting comments. It certainly made a change and was a crazy session and did not have time to think or chat between casts and a welcome change for me. Such fantastic game fish and beach all to myself helped by torrential rain lol. Stay safe cheers Paul 👍👍👍🐟🐟
Hello Paul, love this session. I will be fishing at Selsey this weekend is there any advance you could give me, my partner going to have a go for bass. Cheers 😁
If Fishing Selsey weed can be an issue and generally quite strong currents and weed appears at different times on the tide. Selsey beaches are varied and I generally have a look starting on the west side and then working towards the east beaches. If fishing by the boats can be a bit snaggy as very mixed ground. The further east you go the shallower it becomes. My two favourite spots are near the life boat station and the east side parking in Park Lane. Low tide lunchtime 12 ish and fishes well for bass if lure fishing. If using bait then long flowing traces and big baits. Do not need to be far our as currents even on short tides are very strong. Bream are about in numbers and can be great fun to catch use 3 hook traces with small hooks and slivers of squid bream react to moving baits and can be caught on tiny lures. Good luck and great to hear from you 👍🐠🐠🐠🐠
Hi chap thanks for watching and supporting me with positive comments. One of those few and far between days when we were fishing over fish that were biting. Am off to Shoreham on next trip this weekend 🤞take care cheers Paul
Hi Maan parked by the lifeboat station, walked down the alleyway and turned left. Fished about three hundred metres further along the beach cheers Paul 👍👍
Hi Phil, thanks for watching and yep one of those unusual days where I was catching fish lol and certainly made a change from blanks. No K’s as it was torrential rain and we had the beach to ourselves. Poor Ross isolating re COVID but is coming out Saturday once he finishes quarantine and as long as no rain heading to Shoreham and targeting something other than bream lol cheers Paul 👍👍👍
Hi Anthony have not caught a bass like that for years from the beach. Whenever I target them always blank and nature and fishing are fickle. Unusual for me to catch like that lol. Stay safe and cheers for watching Paul 👍👍👍🐠🐠🐟

The stones to the water is gorgeous! We have sand here. The water is absolutely beautiful!!!!
Hi Kimmie water pretty clear and most of the beaches near me are stony but I do not mind as keeps water clear and no sand in my sandwiches lol 😂

What a cracking session. I was going to bet that was a fleet of Karen's in front of you ready to launch a mass attack.
