Magic catch and release. You get twice the pleasure.well done. Such a nice thing to see, similar to Rodsangle, total respect for the fish.Lovely to see.Well done.!
Hi Anthony, thanks for watching and the really positive comments. Such gutsy fish, gleam like silver and give a tremendous bite followed by a brilliant fight. Makes me happy to catch them and they earned the right to go back to fight another day.👍👍👍👍cheers Paul
Hi fellow thanks for watching and actually went really well for a short session. Conditions pretty good and weed only at top of the tide. Hoping to get out on boat at weekend as well as a visit to a beach weather permitting . Best regards Paul cheers 👍👍👍👍
Hi paul you ok mate. Enjoyed the watch as uze. Pleased you bk on the fish and saved the dredded blankty blank. Good luck on your next session . I was out on friday morning reel early left my house on bike at 3.30 for 6.10 high tide. For once it was lovely ,no wind warm and not much weed. Saw an absolute amazing sunrise witch made my day. And just for that i was so glad i made the effort to get out my pit. I managed a lovely size flounder to save the bkank. I don't no whats going on paul at the minute but for the last 10 sessions ive either blanked or managed just one fish. Any way all the best from GY.
Hi Carl glad you caught the flounder and blanks do get in our heads. Really puts the pressure on me but always compare myself to others who blank to smooth me out and I have had a few where I start doubting myself. One of my subscribers said I should be positive and visualise all my years of fishing and focus that on the moment which I have started doing. We also need the right conditions and tides for the perfect fish storm lol 😂 I now am just grateful to be out and alive and more importantly seeing nature and being part of it and you would understand with the sunrise. I do not get stressed as I reassure myself with there will always be a next time when the monster fish will arrive on my hook. Have been fishing for over forty years and still get excited even with the terry Wogans lol. Thanks for watching and the comments really appreciated that you take the time to talk to an old bloke down south next adventure is out on a boat this weekend and then a session on the beach I will say a prayer to the fish gods for your next trip cheers from down south stay safe Paul
Really glad you fished my usual area Selsey I blanked the last session there totally weeded out it was horrible By the way no need to thank us for subbing you because we simply wouldn't if your content wasn't any good I also had real crab issue's with baits being destroyed within seconds It's fantastic by the way and the local tackle shop there does sell fantastic ragworm if you're stuck next time for bait
Hi Gavin thank you for the kind and supportive comments really appreciated and weed what a pain although I really like Selsey. Great beach and deep water with a chance of who knows. Envious that it’s near you a great part of the country and makes me happy when down there. And the crabs never known anything like it for spiders and don’t remember it being that bad. They have driven me mad and seem to be turning up everywhere. Am off to Shoreham this Sunday with Andy and going to fish a beach that I have not been to before 🤞🤞🤞🤞cheers Paul
Hi Richard once upon a time it would have ended up in a pan but they provide such good sport and get their freedom. Will keep deep hooked fish. Certainly makes a change to get all conditions, tackle and bait right.😂Hoping to get out on a boat this weekend for something a little different and then on beach maybe Pagham. Stay safe cheers Paul 👍👍👍👍
Hi Billy big thanks for the comments and watching my vid, much appreciated. Did consider fishing bigger bait at distance but always mindful of weed as there was a bit about and couldn’t leave bait out too long so went after the Bream instead and was rewarded with gutsy charming fish. Am going to have a crack next couple of weeks on a night tide. Stay safe cheers Paul 👍👍👍
Hi Paul great video ,love your style of commentary excellent quality of sound and picture.. Here in Norfolk waiting for the mackerel. Had some Bass and plenty of dog fish also been feeding crabs ! ! Loved hearing your early morning mishaps so decided to subscribe to your channel
Mark really appreciate your comments and taking the time to watch. Brilliant that you have subscribed to an old bloke doing something that has been in my blood from when I was a kid. Had a crappy childhood and fishing always helped me to escape and started fishing small ponds out in the countryside on local farms early in morning with mist rising and birds calling. Then when I was 12 an old chap who worked in local bakery took me sea fishing and was then hooked if you can excuse the pun. Am fortunate in later life to have the time to go and brilliant to be able to share my adventures with all the fantastic technology that is available. Hopefully out on boat this weekend for something a little different. Just watching east Enders lol 😂 cheers Paul
Am an idiot just put my glasses on should have said hi Mike am having a mare of an evening my daughter who have not seen for nearly two years as she lives in Dubai has flown to Malta to quarantine for two weeks before coming home is a little stressed and teary. World is bonkers 😛 Used to stay in Norfolk many years ago in Diss and walked to beach as was that obsessed about six miles trudging caught eels and flatfish. Stayed near a Bernard Mathews farm good old turkey twizzlers cheers Paul 👍👍👍
Hi thanks for watching and the positive comments much appreciated and yes am planning a trip out on boat this weekend as well as a trip to the beach cheers Paul 👍👍👍

He captures the mood perfectly cheers and take care Paul 👍👍👍
Hi chap good to have met you and you were bang on. Cannot beat local knowledge and had an ace morning, they are such game fish with attitude. 👍👍cheers for watching and commenting stay safe Paul
Graham thanks for the great message and think there is some truth in what you say and wise words. Positivity gives a better mental attitude and what game fish bream are which brought a smile to my day. A Bass would be great and have a plan to catch some small pout to use as live bait to see if I could winkle one out. Am hoping to get out on a boat at weekend as well as a trip to another beach weather going to be good. Cheers as ever for watching much appreciated stay safe Paul 👍👍
Hi Stephen makes a change to catch something but specifically target the Bream on the advice of some locals and the right tide and location. They have very small mouths so tiny hooks needed and they hunt by sight so clearing water needed and broken ground. They are cracking fish and even the small ones go off like mini trains. Am out again this weekend possibly on a boat and then on the beach cheers Paul 👍👍
Thinking about getting a boat shetland 535 but have no idea about the laws or the safety of taking one out to sea so any information about being a greenhorn or first time out at sea in your video may make great content for my and any one Else thinking of getting one 👍🐟🚣♀️
Will take your comments on board and did have two boats starting with a dorado 22 and moved up to a Jeanneau merry fisher. Owned for twelve years but ruddy expensive for the amount of time spent at sea. Will give an overview as to basics needed in my next video. Cheers for the idea. 👍👍👍
