+Eric Sandoval i tend to agree.... nothing complicated. pretty much in the pocket all hour round. This comment was made by someone who knows nothing about drums. its a 120-140 bpm. Nothing to reach my stamina to darkness.
Any drummer with a decent amount of technique SHOULD be able to play 16th notes at this tempo on something with easy rebound such as the hi hat for even an hour.
Japan, the country where you can make minimalist electronic music without machine. It's about pursuing the perfection in the repetition. A bit like the practice of katas in karate.
