I do not have access to a welder so I purchased an Easy Step out of Tyler,Texas ... Delivered in 24 hours !!!
Thanks for the video ... wish I had seen it a couple years ago
what a joy watching a real craftsman at work...awesome!!!
Your friend does nice quality work. I like his step designs. Perfect for a boater single handed launching and retrieving when no dock is present at a launch ramp.
Yes Sir that is what I was thinking too
This is perfect timing I just bought a “new” to me boat yesterday and was thinking about a set of steps to get in. I just hope mine comes out that good he does nice work
Yes he does do really good work . And he has better welders than I do lol
Same here!
Master Craftsman. Always a pleasure to watch them work. Thanks for sharing!!
I agree brother , he's good at what he does
Excellent video, I have the same problem getting in my Tahoe, differently need to call about those steps. Thanks for spreading the word.
Competition is a good thing ! Excellent workmanship in a niche market.
Best of luck !
I tried building me some awhile back. Them 20 penny nails i used made a mess outta my boat didn't think about putting them on the trailer. Awesome.
Now you know how too do it , thank you for watching buddy
Bet you used a claw hammer to pound em on the boat?....WRONG, pound em in with a ball peen hammer. no worries.
Man those are exactly what I need!!! I will be contacting him. Happy Easter, he has Risen !!!
Amen Happy Easter brother . I got a new phone Glenn give me call buddy
Cool. Really like seeing things come together on a project.
Me too , that's why we do it . The satisfaction of the end result
He done a good job on them! I'm an old school welder, arc welder and cutting torch guy, then side grinder. wish I had a plasma cutter and wire welder. Good video
I want a plasma cutter too man , I know exactly what you mean . Happy Easter brother
Great show thank you.
I hope you and your family have a blessed Easter.
Thank you Sir , Happy Easter brother 🐣
Yall have made an awesome help video here. Thanks
Great video, those steps are great and I just may have to get some. Thanks for another great DIY and keep them coming.
Them you Sir , they really are great
Really nice set of steps there. They're a great idea. While we haven't fitted steps , we did fit steel mesh to the floor of the trailer so we can walk out on it in the water. It puts a barrier between us and saltwater crocs.
Cheers and hope you had a great Easter up there !
That's a great idea man
I understand I wish he could mount them
Happy Easter and Stay safe and healthy buddy! That is perfect timing! My new boat and trailer are going to be so happy with these new steps! Bad thing is we can't even take her out to break in the motors on her yet. TA DAY we hunker down so TA MORROW we can fish!
That does stink man , but you stay safe and you'll be out there before you know it
Middle of the pandemic and not a hair out of place. Another cool video!!
Lol well that's cause I cut my own hair too haha . Stay safe and Happy Easter brother
Those steps are pretty neat Keith. I've seen some like them before. I would love to have a set for my boat. My old knees ain't what they used to be.
I'm right there with you buddy lol . I appreciate you brother
Those are awesome! Will look real good with my t-shirt! Oh, and the cutting board.you are going to send me!
Thank you. I watched it twice. I’m gonna build on on my trailer.
They are nice
Thank you I purchased 60,000 in machinery to make my cheap steps! Well worth it!!!!!
You can make em from a 200 dollars worth of Harbor Freight tools if you had any fabrication skill
That's an awesome idea!!! Build one for each side and you have a landing guide when pull up on the trailer!!! Plus, by having one on each side, it allows you to get off or onto the boat from either side!!
Stay safe, my friend... This "Coronie" mess will be over before you know it!!!😂
I hope so brother , you stay safe too man
What a awesome upgrade time and money well spent. Happy Easter to all.,...
Happy Easter brother
Thank you for your intro to this design. You’re good.

Happy Easter brother , I hope the lord watches over you and yours
Love it! Steps are super expensive! I like the fact that he is local too! I will call today.
Actually, I will need to wait until this weekend when I can get some pics of my trailer and boat for you!
Is there anything you cant do. Your a genius. A bloody genius. Great video.
Thank you but I didn't build them lol
Awesome video! I will be contacting them to order one. Thanks!
Incredible craftsmanship!!

Thank you brother I'm sure he does too . I agree his steps are some of the best out there
I should get started on a set of these Ta DAY! since I watched the video ta DAY!!
You should do it Ta morrow lol
Great video
Good stuff. Price is cheaper than an ER visit if ya slip getting in at the ramp.
Also for some reason video stopped missing s way on my end. Got the “Something went wrong message”
Hmm that must have been UA-cam or wifi . I appreciate you watching brother
Congratulations Joe S.!
and...
Very nice steps!
Thank you Sir
@@FishinNStuff No thank you. I have made one of the fishing pole holders and am currently working on an underwater light. I really appreciate these diy videos as they are keeping me sane. Keep 'em coming.
I know what you mean buddy
It looks like the tongue swung starboard, if it were mine I might have made it for port. Maybe there was a reason.
This was awesome, I've never seen this but now I need it lol. I appreciate you. Thank you for sharing your skills knowledge and experience
He has made them both ways but it's harder than you think to step over the trolling motor and most boats have ove
@@FishinNStuff yes I would think that is difficult, i figured there was a reason. Anyway this is cool I'm going to make one for my pontoon trailer, i have another design in mind but this inspired me. Thanks again and have a blessed day.
Those steps are really nice.
I agree lol they really are cool
Those are awesome!!!! If you’re only need 1set be better off just buying some from him!!!!!
I agree that's a lot of figuring lol
Love my steps from trick step. They are a little spendy but worth it imo😉🥃🇺🇸. Looks like those would work just as well👍😉🥃🇺🇸
I want knocking Trick Steps even my buddy says they make great steps . I was just showing how you could make your own
Fishin N Stuff Never thought you did. 😉🥃🇺🇸
Good idea 💡
Yes Sir thank you brother
Thank you
Man them some Bad Azz steps. That dude Can Build. Can you get the brand name of the fluke with the Mohawk lol. Great video Keith thanks for sharing.
Your correct he can build , ol and you know that was a artificial shrimp lure upside down haha 😄
!CONGRATS to the winner
May Have To Make A Set For My Boat!!👍Gettin' Old Sucks!😁
Yes Sir getting old does SUCK hahaha 😆
They are really cool
That is a great build!!!
Hey i heard from the guy that order those steps that he heard about em , on your show Catfish Weekly
@@FishinNStuff Outstanding!!!!!
I build them too.they are a pain in the butt and every trailer is different
I have to do this for a friend but I'm nervous, I just finished welding school and want to do it good. This would be my very first job. He said he just wants something simple, again I'm new to this all but I want to do a good job. His boat is a little bigger too. It doesn't have to be like multiple steps he said, just like 1 where he can pop up easier.
HAPPY EASTER, stay safe and healthy.......
You too brother stay safe and happy Easter 🐣
Man...those steps look better than the steps you buy from Trick Step...
Thanks for the video...I will be ordering some maybe by fall.
I have a 2005 18ft G3 HP180 Aluminum Bass Boat with a completely removable tongue from the trailer that slides out of the trailer reciever...(not swing away)
Would there be any problem shipping long distance to me here in Mobile Alabama?
Much love from Mobile Alabama
I really need these for my tracker grizzly 1860.

Now that is what I need!!!

@@toddcarpenter714 you too buddy

That they're random generator pick the wrong name lol but congratulations Joe S. Happy Easter
Its a piece a junk haha I'm sorry man 😆
Done
Nice set of steps!! Where can I get one for a Bass Tracker Pro 175?
You'll have to contact the Great Outdoors
This video gave me a bad case of band saw envy the way it cuts through steel, makes my cheap Harbor Freight one look like a Lego construction.
Don't feel bad his tools are better than mine too lol
My next project is to build some sort of crab trap roller hauler. I don't like rubbing the rope against the side of my rubber rub guards the rope cuts into it if the trap is heavy enough so I have to bend over and pull to keep it off the side. Also a roller helps shed some of the water out of the lines as it comes aboard. I was thinking about chopping apart a bicycle front wheel and using part of the rim as a rope rub guard and the hub as a roller attached to 2 pieces of angle iron(90°L's) for mounts. It wouldn't cost me anything but would look ugly as F. Might just buy a small bow roller and use 2 90°pieces of aluminum to mount it, that way I can mount it out far enough I don't need a rope rub guard.
Any thoughts on a diy version pot puller?
I'll have too look that up . And do some homework on that
I want those steps bad!
They are awesome , Great Outdoors lol
Those steps look great , been looking for a set on my Tracker Grizzly 2072 how much would something like this cos5
I don't know if they ship.em or not , but you can call the Great Outdoors in Cherryville NC , just Google it and the numbers on there they can tell you more accurately than me
Fishin N Stuff thanks brother I’ll give them a shout
Yes Sir
Help. I need you to do a DIY video for us please.
I have a kayak and want some rod holders (like Scotty) to screw down. I am not talking about the pvc rod holders that people have made for transporting rods. rather I mean the rod holders that u put rod in when u are actually fishing. I have looked on UA-cam and there are no videos showing how to make these. I just bought a fishing kayak and it has pre drilled holes made for store bought devises. But they are expensive and don’t line up anyway.
Thanks so much. I love your videos.
I appreciate you watching and thank you . Can you get a link to what your talking about so ill know what kind your looking at
www.cabelas.com/product/SCOTTY-SIDE-MOUNT-ROD-MASTER-II/3087750.uts
Doesn’t have to be this one. Just one of holders you screw down down onto top of kayak. The base will stay screwed down permanently, but the rod holder can detach. It would nice if u could adjust it some for different angles etc.
done
Nice steps how much would the finished item weigh say 4 to 5 steps as Australian boats different to your bass boats I have a Tabbs tinny { aluminium} 4.6m ill try and attach a pic.
I would guess around 40 to 45 lbs maybe I have some now . They are a little heavy but they are super strong . You could sacrifice strength and make em a little lighter
Nice video man do you know if he ship them to Vermont I’m planning to buy some for my boat this week.
You can call the Great Outdoors in Cherryville NC and you'll have a better chance probably . I know the shipping would be high for him . They are made from 5/8" steel so they aren't light you know
Thanks man I will call to see I really like does steps they look well made.👍🏼 stay safe brother.
You too brother . Ask for Tyler or Jason and you'll get more help
DONE
How do I get in contact to price out some steps for my boat?
Did a search, can't find, I need these steps for my boat, the sooner the better. Need a website or number to order some.
I'm not sure if they do shipping on the steps or not but here's the number
1 (704) 445-8848
Are you using the same torch to weld that you cut with?
No he was using a plasma cutter to cut the steel , and a mig welder to weld with
Love your video. Does David still work there?
He works with me , but it works there part time kinda
@@FishinNStuff awesome brotha. How can I purchase steps from David? This would be such a help for me when I fish alone or with my 7yr old. You definitely hit it on the money with the other brands costing an arm and a leg.
@@lloyds_fishingjournal he has to measure your boat trailer, so you will have to call the Great Outdoors and make an appointment with him
@@FishinNStuff ahh I see. Yea I live in California so I don't think that would work lol
Just wondering the cost. An what info he would need on the Pro Tracker 195 team TXW
I think he only does local work because he has to measure your boat .
