Boilerplate: Building stuff is dangerous. If you attempt to do any of the stuff you see in these videos you can hurt yourself or others. So don't be stupid, stupid.

Good job dude, pretty rewarding
Thanks!
What a great job you did Thanks
That turned out really nice!!
That’s a good design. I need to round up some metal and make one too. Thanks for posting.
Nice job, the steps look great!
good job dude! looks better than stock
Thanks it worked great at the lake.
Thanks for the video. ATX 🤘
See you on the lake :)
Great looking job, I would have put it on a u bolted plate that could be removed from this trailer and moved to the next, I know another big job but you put in to much work to let it go if you sell this trailer.
It is cheaper and easier to just build another set for the next boat, as its customized to the trailer, how the boat mounts on the trailer, etc.
This design im gonna try best I've seen
Love it!
Really Nice! Best design I've seen...If I don't own a plasma cutter, what would you suggest for creating the stair cutouts? Thx
Cut off wheel on an angle grinder will serve you just fine. It just takes a little longer.
you might be closer than you think to the front of the boat as it isn't cranked up all the way
The stairs were the perfect distance away as the boat was fully seated on the trailer. They served me well and continue to serve the new owner. :)
I'm stealing this design but gonna try with steps on the left side only to maintain good access to the pulley crank.
Easiest design I've seen yet....
no reason to make stuff complicated. This is basically what you get on the front of a new $200K+ boat.
I wouldn't put anything on the trailer brake system but looks good
Trailer brakes work fine. This is installed on the tongue of the trailer.
@@Makswerks1No, you have welded the main post to the actuator. If you have to replace it, your steps have to be removed and re-attached.
I agree with the comment, I would not have welded it to the brake actuator.
@@thooks1234 The actuator assembly actually mounts from underneath, so replacement wouldn't be an issue. It never worked on this trailer, and I actually welded the tounge in place so it was a non-issue for me. If it was a working actuator, I might have removed it first before welding.
Yeah that would be nice but my anchor is in front of my boat😢
you can always offset them to the side.
kill the music, but great vid
Great job. Music sucks. Takes away from what your doing.
