I'm really late to the Turnstile party (just got turned onto GLOW ON about 2 weeks ago) and I've been listening to the album on repeat nonstop. I can't recall the last time an album has made me feel so happy. This album has single handedly got me back into skating (it's been 18 years) and playing my guitar and drums again (a couple of years). I start every morning listening to the album and the intro to this song makes the best wake up alarm. Thanks dudes!
Dude, you just described me perfectly!! I can't remember the last time I was THIS into an album. Definitely go back and check out the rest of the discography you won't regret it
These guys have a cool sound. Like they escaped the 90's. If someone told me this band debuted in 94, I'd believe it. I'm playing this album over and over tomorrow. They, and I, deserve it. 8 haven't heard a good new band in 10 years .
[Verse 1] There's a gun to my head Are you gonna get it right? And I believe in holding on to life But I'm afraid, too [Chorus] And it's been so long Is all the mystery gone? And it's been so long All the mystery All the mystery [Verse 2] There's a clock in my head Is it wrong, is it right? I wish this song existed in 2007 when I was deep in my emo phase because it would have been pinned to my Myspace profile - the truest form of music appreciation.
Hey its Finn! Turnstile Video soon on what they are doing for the genre!?! Can attest I listen to so much now because of them. I'm no longer your typical boring metal head!
Unpopular opinion; they couldnt have released a better album for the moment it was released and its amazing however; it has not aged as well as i wouldve liked and is not their best.
This is amazing, how they blend 90s punk and grunge with 80s sounding production on vocals and synths. The guitar solos sound like Smashing Pumpkins with a Nirvana guitar tone.
@@Chaplin1219 because they do… you’d have to ask them why. They actually sound like more like Janes Addiction than anything, with a weezer guitar solo of course. and i’ve been a fan of turnstile since 2012

This song makes me feel so energetic, I just feel like head bopping and then doing a stage dive into the crowd. The guitar solo was epic! I love the atmosphere of this song!
I've been straight up jamming to this song the past month or so since they always play it on my local alt rock station, honestly think this band might be the big rock band of this decade
I'm from Brazil and I met them through this year's Lollapalooza, I loved their album and this is my favorite song by them, IT'S AMAZING, TURNSTILE IS LEGEND
Thank you Turnstile for always being there for me. Love your new record. Loved your show in Lollapalooza Chile. Please come back to South America soon, we will always be happy to have you guys here.
@@nedkuczmynda3236 I am baltimore born and raised, I only found out about Clifton because of Turnstile. The album release show in the bandshell was amazing last year too. I'll never forget that for the rest of my life!
@braingazer... Honestly, they feel way closer to Fugazi to me than Nirvana. As much as Cobain was a legend at songwriting, Nirvana weren’t exactly the most technically skilled band. Meanwhile, Fugazi had both lyricism and skill, and Turnstile definitely has all-around chops like the latter.
Have had the album on repeat, The live shows are some of the best I've been to. Just pure fun, music and massive mosh pits. You guys rock! See you this summer :)
The new collab EP between Turnstile and Badbadnotgood (who I love) brought me to the attention of Turnstile, although I'd been hearing their name floating around for about a year now. I'm over 50 but have been an avid music fan for most of my life and now tempted to check out more of Turnstile ; they are described as hardcore but from the few songs I've heard so far, they have some varied influences. They remind me a bit of Japandroids (who I love also).
What a sad song I 😢 but also hopefull and uplifting , brings me to tears, im crushing hard ! This song goes extra hard ! ❤❤❤ dont be scared to love everybody !

These comments are crazy. It’s good hardcore with good riffs. The melodic vocals are a callback and the songwriting is rock solid. I’m honestly pleasantly surprised they broke through. Keep jamming Turnstile, normies!
New Turnstile fans have no idea what they're in for when they look up the singer as the drummer in Trapped Under Ice lol can't wait for those reviews. So sick.
One thing I love about this band is that multiple generations can love and appreciate them. From the schoolers to the up-&-comers. Gr8 vibes, gr8 unique style, & a wonderful creative blend of old meets new. Thank you guys for what you do!!! 🤘
