So good and full of information. I don't know anything about Lancaster but it seems so full of interesting history. The castle is wonderful and great to hear about what went on here with the witches. Its very grand like you said and the grounds looked lovely too.
Loved that priory and hearing all about it and how it was the towns parish church in I think you said the 14th century. That Roman bathhouse was great to see too and so was the museum, sad to hear about the slave trade connection though
The Queen Victoria memorial was also good to see next to the town hall. Great tour, well worth a visit after what you shared 👍~ Anna

1000 years! wow. fun idea with the questions and answers. the devil foot prints... creepy. i'm unfamiliar with the movie filmed there. i really enjoyed the stroll along the canal. during the pandemic, i really got into narrowboats. we even fantasized about living in england on one, but probably wouldn't get into smuggling. 😉 hope you're having a great weekend, highland explorer! cheers! 🛴❤

Lancaster's history really does go wayyy back - even further than 1000 years! 🤯 Those devil footprints are seriously spooky, right?
