Great review. The V2 will be better for me and more useful with the slight spill. Thank you!

The SFT-40 is the current little brother rockstar to the SBT90.2... It performs optimally in the smaller reflectors that are good form factors for pocketable lights. Whether SMO or TIR, the LED just throws beautifully. On specs, it can be hard driven to 3,500 lumens. In a larger host like the Noctigon K1 or Convoy L8, you probably could push this to 3,000 lumens on a boost driver and get good utility sustain performance from it.

I have the v1 and agree the v2 looks like it would be slightly more practical as the v1 is incredibly focused. I use my v1 for specialty long range tasks in my yard and for my purposes I don't see any need for upgrading.

Really hoping to see a review on the thrunite Archer pro V2. Would love to hear your thoughts & see some of the numbers on the new LED they're using. 😎👍

That's not one that's currently on my review list.

I don't know why they don't put a carry clip on these lights I would definitely carry this light every day but without a clip it's useless I know it's much bigger but it's really hard to give up my Nitecore p23i

I assume it's because the head is so much larger than the body tube.

@@LiquidRetro and that's where the engineering comes you develop a clip that takes care of that problem I would spend the extra money to get it. So many cool flashlights don't come with a clip.

this is definitely not for pocket carry bc the shape. this is more bag carry
