Dude! Every time I'm feeling lost or overwhelmed with my small life problems, I found you on here and watching your vids just makes me wanna be a better person. Keep shining my friend!
My heart goes to all people who suffer dissabilities like this man. These are the people who rarely judge others and count the blessings like we count shit that goes wrong in our lives. Bless you my friend and may you live a long and happy life.
Such traumatic experiences can bring change. I was 8 or 9 when I had a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) from a car accident. I'm 34 now and have grown more empathetic. I still have those bad days, but the accident was kind of a blessing in disguise. Nothing wrong to want to walk again and wake up the next day as if nothing ever happened, but the patience and selflessness you gain overtime that most other people who have never experienced a life changing event is something really celestial.
I, too am on baclofen for spasms(neurological disease) Out of the boatload of prescribed meds I take, baclofen and gabapentin are my saviour drugs….much more than OxyContin! What a wonderful man you are!
Congratulations Zack, I have multiple sclerosis and some of my friends have gotten the pump surgery. It seems to work well for MS spasms. Wishing you continued healing and a positive attitude!
You look absolutely AMAZING for just coming out of surgery. I use Baclofen for muscle spasms from my spinal instability, several herniated discs and degenerative disc throughout my neck and spine. I am so VERY happy for you that this procedure helped you so much. Sending much love, light and an abundance of beautiful blessings to you, from the majestic Oregon coast!
I've observed his mother on these vids doing all she does w/ such love & determination....truly nothing on this earth compares to a mother's love for her children.
I recently became a c4-c5 quadriplegic and a double arm amputee. I've been following your channel and progress before my injury. If I only new... I'm so happy things are working out for you, man. All the best!
I'm a 20 year T6 sci from a motorcycle accident back in 2001 and you make me feel like a wimp! You're one tough dude young man! Your inspiration and attitude is infectious. God bless you Zach!!!
Oh my lord zak, this is my first time ever seeing you on u tube, i could not for one second in my life imagine what you have gone through in your life. It must break your mothets heart to watch you going through this terrible thing that you have endurered for years, i watched the remarkable differance this operation has has done for you and hope each day you get much, much more relief from your spasams. I wish you all the very best for your future and i looks forward to watching your video's👍🙂
I’m so happy for you. I have transverse myelitis and used to have spasms in both arms and my right leg. I take baclofen by mouth twice a day and it changed my life tremendously.
Zack, wish you miracle healings and stay happy always. My mom is also a quadriplegic since 13 years.Hardships comes but God is always close to them who suffers. ❤️❤️❤️
I have a pain pump…..so thankful! I’m not familiar with your type of pump but I hope you keep getting help. It’s such a relief when you do! Hang in there!
Congrats I'm glad you got the baclofen pump my son got his in 2017 my son has it to control spasticity. I think you will be pleased wit it. It works great. TFS
I'm a incomplete Sci so I fully get it. I used to tell my niece to get milk and I will make whip cream from all the shaking. So happy for you!! Only the best to you!
You are so outstanding that mere words do you no justice. I can only hope to be half the person you are. Full respect, good vibes, and love your way. You're a role model for millions!
Our Hearts goes out to you. You have super personality with positiveness. Great news on surgery is a plus wish you more happy life. We are glad we came across your video, great story.
Hi I've recently been given baclofen medicine for my shakes and spasms. After having strokes my shakes got worse than ever. My neurologist prescribed baclofen for this and even on a low dose of works amazing. I'm glad it's working for you.
Bro, God bless you and much love.. I am so excited for you, I pray that you heal well and will find comfort from no more spasms. I hope you will be an inspiration to others. I've been watching you from the start of your journey and could not be more happy for you! A day for celebration for sure! ❤
I have muscle spasms in my back and my doctor prescribes me baclofen. I am so glad to see that it is helping you, I never thought I could tell the difference when I was taking them, but when I run out and don't have them I can really tell a bigger difference it is much more painful and much more muscle spasms. Good luck to you with your pump hopefully it will help you immensely. Prayers and lots of love from Dallas Texas 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
My granddaughter has CP. She takes a small dose of baclofen 1ml 3x a day. She was never supposed to walk. But she does. She is amazing! Born without the left side of her brain.due to inutro injury. The brain is a very powerful tool. Can keep her down! Thanks for sharing. Your amazing too!
I’ve been paralyzed for 2 years and I’ve had horrible spasms. They don’t jump up like yours did, but they’ll shoot straight after a transfer, just thump until they calm down, twist and contort. My calves are almost hard from how strong the muscles are from spasms alone. I take the max oral baclofen my dr is willing to give n they’re still horrible. I’ve been terrified to consider the baclofen pump but my dr suggested it and I can’t live a life full of battling legs I can’t control. My mom sent me your post on the Christopher Reeve website and watching this has made me feel a little more comfortable about getting one. I’m still reasonably terrified but this helps a lot knowing how big of an impact it is. Thank you for the follow along !!
I'm so so glad I came across your video. Thank you for the information. My 2 year old grandson is a quad due to an accident in Feb. He may need this pump in the future.
Good to know. In 2009, my son experienced a SCI while in a coma following bilateral pneumonia. When he awoke he was unable to move his extremities. Apparently the spinal cord became enflamed and lodged into his T6. He has been having spasms as well, pretty much tightens at his diaphragm thus causing him to hold his breath til his spasms subside. We we never told of this procedure. Thank you for sharing. Remain Positive...Stay Blessed! 🌴😎👍🏽
I am so glad you never gave up hope. You seem to been a very strong individual and I will pray that you continue to have success with all your medical challenges. You are an inspiration to me I know. I have live with a colostomy for 17 years and many surgeries to get where I am today. But at 69 I continue to share my story to give other hope.
You're staying in a God sent beautiful icon that greatly helps others truly realize the beautiful value of themselves ... , as the power of normality .
This reminds me of my pops may he rest in power 😔 it was so hard watching this happen to him. A baclofen pump helped him alot as I hope it helps you also.
Hello, Thank you for sharing your story. I wish I had made a video recording mine as well. I have had issues with mine that required revision surgery. I also had complications from the surgery itself. I am now healing from the revision surgery. I can agree with you about your apprehension with getting the surgery. It took me 6 years, before I conceded to it. Despite my complications and setbacks, I agree 100% with noticing changes immediately. Despite all that I've been through, I too, would recommend this procedure for anyone suffering from crippling spasticity. As an added bonus, it got rid of the stutter I had been left with after my initial spinal cord injury. More people should share as you have. I wish I'd seen this prior to my initial surgery. People need to talk and share what they've learned. It will make us feel less alone, yes, but it will also help people to better know what to expect, questions to ask, and issues to consider. Thank you again. 🙂
Get well soon Zack. More prayers for you & GOD Bless. I'm also a colon cancer patient with colostomy on my 5th yr. but with God's Mercy. i;m still getting stronger. Thanks fr. Manila.
I wish there was a way quads can get their mobility back. I have a double organ transplant and I know what it's like to be one person then become another. Zack you are dreamy
That is wonderful. Ten years! I don't know how you did it. What a blessing to get such relief. Thanks to modern medicine and great doctors. Tell him "Thanks!" every time you see him. They like to help people too.
Congrats on so many things, The pump is huge of course. But also grats on a great vacation and trip, and getting back home safely. Looking forward to seeing you streaming again soon once you’ve settled in from everything. keep rocking mr hotness!!

So I'm in the situation you're in ..
I was born with spastic diplegia a form of cerebral palsy but without any brain damage or curvature of the hands..
I was on baclofen orally I haven't tried the pump I'm on a different muscle medication now my legs do the exact same thing your legs
do..
I'm in a wheelchair to now I absolutely hate it my husband he's the only one who is able to bend my knees so that I can put my legs down they lock in place..
I'm sure yours does too it's really painful people have no idea what it's like for people like us I'm so glad you're bringing awareness to everyone ..
I've been thinking about creating my own UA-cam and doing the same thing I might still do that I'm so glad I found your Channel you're a very strong person.

Zack you are a great guy... Just know that God got your back
Thank you!
Hi Zach. I use baclofen as well in smaller doses, but I’m glad it gives you some relief, stay strong buddy!
My husband is a quadriplegic. He had more spasms when he was younger, he got injured at 16 yrs old. But he has somehow gotten better as he’s aged( now 60). I hope the best for this young man
God is watching over you
Think of all you' ve been exposed to. Enough to tell others about the goodness of God
What a wonderful smile and wife you've got
Zack my cat coffee was trying to give u love after ur sugary. My cat's and me really love u and support you all the way
I’m so glad everything went smoothly
Had my pump since 1992 (Well, it's my 5th because battery wears out). Always wonder why people who deal with severe spasticity are reluctant to even look into it. Definitely a game changer! I hope you keep getting the relief you're looking for!
Because it's still medication being pumped in a body and it's unknown what the long term affects might be. Besides that it's still surgery which needs to be repeated.
I was informed about this when I was 10 or 11 years old. My Dad asked the doctor what would happen if I were to miss one of the 'maintenance' days, and got told it could result in death. 24 years later, I don't suffer from many spasms now which I'm glad I didn't get, but the consequences of missing an appointment got me scared, especially during the pandemic.
You are very inspiring and you give hope to all of us.

I’m glad everything is ok! Sometimes in life we gotta take a leap of faith :)
A few years ago my physiatrist had me try baclofen for the first time to relieve the spasticity that I had developed in my hamstring muscles, but when I took it, I had a completely different effect from it. Instead of having less spasticity in my muscles, my spasticity increased and caused me more problems. I had a complete adverse reaction that was also considered to be a paradoxical effect of the medication. Which is why I now have to classify it as being a drug allergy because I honestly don’t want to ever have that experience again.
I have spastic hemiplegia cerebral palsy on my left side of my body and instead of taking baclofen, I get Botox injections to treat the spasticity levels in my muscles of my left arm and leg. Glad that baclofen works well for you.
