Basketball has a high viewership thanks to the combined effort between China and USA fans, both are huge countries. But still nowhere near football, my fellow Americans can't comprehend how massive that sport is, how much money it moves and how competitive is. In my country there's at least 10 football fields per neighborhood, poor, rich, middle class, doesn't matter. There's thousands of football schools, public and private, hundreds of local, regional, national and international tournaments... And this is an average country, imagine now Argentina, Brazil, Spain
Messi is world champion of a sport that is played all over the world, soccer is one of the 3 sports with the most physical activity among all sports in the world, so if he is the goat of goats
I'll agree with Luke here. There's a huge player pool for soccer with pretty good mechanisms for recognizing talent and advancing it and continually development (so the player that could be the GOAT isn't likely languishing on some 4th tier Bulgarian team), being the best at that means that you've risen above a LOT of players. Contrast with football, where there is more of a weeding-out process for players, rather than continual development and talent promotion. It's entirely possible that the presumptive GOAT football player might not really develop as a player until they're 20 (especially for a skill position - thinking QB, CB, WR), and that means that they may not play past the high school level, or if they play in college it'd be at a non-D1 school (and let's face it, how many pro scouts watch D3 and NAIA? Few to none.). The process of player development and the size of the player pool for soccer means that being the GOAT there is both more difficult and more meaningful.
Even take Brady as an example. None of the pro teams thought much of him, and yet he is the best modern QB (I only started following football in 2015, so I am not prepared to call him the GOAT Qb, but I feel that it is pretty close)
I would argue this debate only exists in the US, pretty much the entire world KNOWS that Messi is the GOAT of the GOATs. There's no reason to believe that someone like Brady, as great as he is could be considered a bigger athlete in a sport that is played only in one country in the entire world.
the argument is quite solid, that is, there are millions of people around the world playing football and trying to be the best, this means that entering a small group of 10 players who are considered the best in the world, we are talking about fierce competition for entering that small group, not even talking about being number 1, if we apply this to a sport that is only practiced by a few people in a certain country, the competition is much less, I think that more than a solid argument it is a great truth
Another argument that proves this is eye-test. Imagine Lebron James or Michael Jordan playing on the level they have been playing and at the same time doing one of Vince Carters Dunk Contest dunks or a Lamelo Ball High School half court shot each game. You just can't stress enough how ridiculous the things are Messi does on a regular basis. He simply is an alien.
roger Federer, shoemaker, woods, MJ and sachin are best ever in their respective sports. But leo is miles ahead of all of them. truly, greatest of all time.
It can be argued that Tendulkar may be the best ever given that he played in a more competitive time period but Bradman’s record is astonishing. His average is almost twice as high as anyone else who’s ever played - in a time with uncovered pitches.
@@ressestevenson7309 Nah. He doesn’t come close. The final of the FIFA football world cup alone had 1.5 billion viewers. Messi has been on top of that world since he was a teenager. The NBA doesn't command that kind of following. The most-watched NBA match doesn't even cut it.
The competition in football is in elite level, especially if you go to europe, just the relegations alone, the one who will qualify to UCL, europa league, and conference league
To the Americans reading this comment section. There is an annoyance felt by people outside the U.S when you’re talking about American sports vs football. It is really arrogant to think that a sport played basically only in one country, with very few professional players playing the game, could possibly produce a GOAT that rivals the top footballers. It’s not just Messi, there are, and have been, hundreds of other players that have risen to the top of this global game which millions of people play. The level of competition in football is several levels above any American sport. All of them combined doesn’t even come close….. it’s really arrogant and ignorant to think you can put forward any player from one of these sports and think they compare to the top football players of all time, If you take your patriotic blinkers off you would see how silly an argument this all is.
Ok so lets use an analogy here. What if there was a hypothetical sport played by only the high schools in broward county, florida. Lets call it Ultimate Pumpkin Tossing. A player arises out of this sport that is so good he's universally accepted as the best in that sport. If i suggested that he was the best high school sports player across the entire United States Corey would never agree to it because of the scale of American Football, basketball and baseball across the country. He understands the scale of those sports domestically and therefore can easily see why an Ultimate Pumpkin Tossing player from a single county played by a few dozen schools shouldn't be in contention with the best American football player or basket player across the country. Now extrapolate that to American sports and the world. Basketball is the only one with significant global reach and its still a fraction of Football's. Why would football fans consider the "goat" to come from a sport played in essentially only 1 country, amongst themselves and only against themselves? In fact, why would ANYONE consider the sports to goat to come from any American sport when they are essentially playing Ultimate Pumpkin Tossing to the rest of the world?
Personally, I think Ultimate Pumpkin Tossing requires a whole different level of skill and athleticism to other sports. The reason it is so little played is because so very few people can even master the basics, let alone play it at elite level. The fact that millions of people play football shows how easy it is. At the last count, the total number on UPT players was precisely one. That in itself must qualify him as the GOAT of GOATS.
@@harryselwindif it's so easy why do you think football matches can be played for 90 minutes yet the game ends 0-0?? 😂 The Greatest sport in World is Football so the Greatest footballer is obviously gonna be the Greatest Athlete,, it's not just about the Physical aspects but what Sports itself represents and this is why American Sports will never compete with Football, for Americans it's All about violence, fighting, throwing people on the ground that's what excites them. Football Unites Cultures, it's about the passion, the History, the emotions.
maan i didnt believe that an american will understand this. all americans say ''he is the michael jordan of football'' but no. he is also not the best of all the millions of people playing that sport right NOW, he is also the best of ALL people in HISTORY ever played that sport. he is the messias
And to all that everyone is adding ti the argument you have to add the fact the football is ridiculously physical in the sense that it’s 90 minutes, non stop, sometimes every three days if he’s playing multiple tournaments, and messi did that. For 20 years. Almost no injuries (some injuries were actually challenge generated). Sure, he won’t track box to box as he used to, so he’s walking more. But if the game calls for it he’ll put in the running minutes. He’s a freak of nature
I think Messi is a born Genius. Lebron and Brady are legendary sportsman but there are barely 10 sports GENIUSES that were born to play their sport and fulfilled their hype from early age. Except Pele, Maradona and R9 there haven't been footballers that were clearly so much better than everyone else at the age of 5-6 than Leo Messi and certainly no one whit this longevity. The most successful people in the most global sports are hundreds, yet true Genius is something no one can quite explain. Mozart produces music whithout hearing it, Van Goh paints whithout prejudice or expectations, Messi looks at football from a GodView and is able to make plays that no one understands because his mind works on a different wavelengths than us. Cristiano fans don't understand that , Picasso fans don't understand that, LeBron fans don't understand that because it isn't something you obtain by virtue of trial and error, you are BORN whit it.
Simple explanation : More people.. More competition.. More competitive. Played against each other.. Consistently at the top with the overall statistics and achievements. Messi beats everyone.
I think it's difficult for Americans to grasp the concept of just how big football is in the world. You're taking the population from all over the world with established process for talent recruitment, and comparing that to the pool of one country. I always hear the argument of "USA has so many gold medals", but my fellow Americans don't realize football is an Olympic sport, and the mens team has yet to win any gold let alone qualify.
also don't forget Messi didn't have a all-around dominant USA team like MJ, Bron or Curry in USA, yet he still won 2 World Cup MVP, 1 Copa America MVP.
Here is my thinking.. Messi plays in a sport which has the most participants in the world and based off accomplishments he is the goat. If the size of the sport doesn't matter, then Phil Taylor the darts player has a shoe in to be considered the best athlete in the world because he is far and above everyone else to have played the sport based on accomplishments. Size of the sport definitely matters, it takes less skill to be the best out of 2000 people compared to 200,000, and less again from that and 2 million etc etc
Another way into this argument is that Messi was in Newell's Old Boys youth setup (one of Argentina's top teams) at 6 years old, he transferred across continents to Barcelona at 13. Its normal for top football players to have been in a top teams youth academy from before they were 10, its part of what makes the US college system look bizarre outside the US as top players have usually played in top teams before they were old enough for college. Messi debuted at 17 for one of the best teams in the world.
Need to consider that to even pursue basketball professionally most basketball players who are passionate automatically give up their dreams because they’re under 6 feet tall. So there are way more basketball players who play casually compare to football cuz football height and weight doesn’t matter unless you’re too heavy. Where I live for example, I know there are way more people who are trying to get into academy football teams than basketball players trying to get into local teams cuz no.1 reason height disadvantage

The thing is remember Messi is now mid 30's, hes not what he was(for me his prime was the best ever), hes more of a playmaker these days, hes still better than about 98% of players, but ive watched Inter Miami a few times this year and they are awful, its unfair to expect one player (no matter how good to fix all problems) i know theyre getting Busquets from Barca but they still need more IMO

The argument that he is isnt is literally saying that being best in US is better than being best in the world 😂 that makes no sense… classic American view of the world
I don’t think Corey quite appreciates the scale we’re talking about here, the best NFL player for example is the best out of 166 million people at most (roughy the US population of men), the best soccer player is the best out of 3.9 billion people - the world population of men. I don’t think he quite appreciates how global it is. Apparently 35 nations don’t have soccer as their first sport, including the US, Canada, Japan, India, Australia and New Zealand - in most of those 35 the second most played sport will be soccer - all you need is a ball, the surface doesn’t matter, the goals can be anything, just marks of dirt on the ground. As such ~160 nations (FIFA has more ‘nations’ with an association than sovereign countries, 211 in total but that confuses matters) *do* have soccer as their main sport, often by a pretty big margin. The difference between those population numbers is 2249.4% - that is the increase of the maximum potential pool size of professional football players in the main leagues American football, as much as I love it, is not really played outside of the US seriously (a little bit in Germany). Basketball is definitely the most global of North American sports, hockey is second and baseball third - but it drops off precipitously before we get to baseball.
Its a reasonable argument. Its probably correct. But cant we just be satisfied with players being a goat without having to be the goat. Messi, Ronaldo, Pele, Zidane are all goats. (And othersl
Zidane, pele and Ronaldo better than Messi, heck no! I have not watched Pele but watching football from 91, i can say i have never seen better player than Lionel Messi.
Funny see naive comments from these 2 guys. Here we go again with the Unitedstaters (not American... Im Bolivian) obsessed with statistics instead of with the beauty and art of football.
It‘s true. You can‘t compare people like Tiger woods, michael jordan or Ali to a guy like messi. Football ist BY FAR the biggest sport and hundreds of millions of different young people worldwide trying to become a professional. This man was and still is able to outperform each and everybody for over 15 years. There is just simply nobody in any sport you could possibly compare to this dominance.
You cannot compare Messi to a Ali or even to a Pele! Just media darlings of the 21st century him and Ronaldo and I love Football! But again, Ali did so much for civil rights etc, Pele stopped a war from happening! Jordan brought basketball all over the world him and the Chicago brand! I’m not from the US but I’m not silly as to not understand why these athletes are considered great! And remember, all this b4 social media, and even so, the likes of Usain or Phelps etc, so many goats out there man! This is a dull argument!
Guys, just to let you know about sports in the world.... Soccer (Football outside US) is the most popular game in the world (thats the reason Olympics decided to perform this acrtivity during the games, because its world-scale). I guess the second one it's Cricket (Maybe because of the amount of indian people playing it) Maybe 3rd around the world it would be Basketball (or Maybe Rugby) Then Hockey (grass). not the ice hockey. And maybe the most popular single sport it would be Tennis?.
Luke is right. Just because the nfl is the only League and there are roster caps id exactly why Luke is right. Less players means its easiee to be good because less competition
Stop acting like just bc you play soccer there is automatically “more competition” since there’s a “bigger player pool.” You cant pick n change the subject mid sentence. In terms of getting into professional soccer no it’s actually WAYYY easier bc there are 100x more teams and leagues to go into. Ofc there’s more people but there is still more teams. In football… there are 32 teams… yet it’s not just about being skinny and being able to play the sport. It’s way more to playing football than soccer. I love both sports so I’m not gonna be bias… but for you to act like it’s easier to get into the NFL you have to be wild. I said switch mid sentence bc in terms of joining it’s easier but when you spoke on “more competition” it doesn’t work like that. Maybe for joining but when you’re playing no. You respectfully just said that to exaggerate your bias point of view. It’s the same amount of competition when you’re playing bc you’re not playing everyone who plays the sport. Only the schedule. Keep in mind nfl players have more ware and tear on their body’s not to mention a schedule also. So no it’s not more competition. It just looks that way on paper.
@@tyreek.6815I don’t think you realise how many people try and make it as footballers, how competitive it is, and how many fail vs make it into academies. The other dude's argument basically boils down to this, "We're Americans, so basically better, we're not even human anymore, so our metrics will never match other humans, we do not belong to the human race, so there." Like cmon dude, just the sheer number of competitions and harshness of competitiveness is very different from America not even the size of the pool of athletes, for example there is no relegation in most American sports, and there are no cup competitions, so in a season the number of different adversities that a team has to face is much lesser, and to win each and every competition like Messi is nearly impossible if you really think about the odds. Plus, the other greats he had to beat, the sheer greatness of other players that Messi had to beat, you have no idea, and there are 11 who influence most big teams, that's insane how hard it is to steamroll a team by your own clear effort
I'm Brazilian, and Messi is the best of all time, and the greatest athlete on USA soil, football and the number 1 sport in the world, if it were to compare messi would be the king of a world, Tom brady, and Lebron james,, they're like mayor of a city, and not to mention that Michael jordan is the best ever, end of story, jordan jordan and jordan!!!!
Another good old player you should watch is George best, who was essentially the 1st football celebrity Fella got those Beatles size crowds of girls who followed him shouting and screaming
Sure, GOAT is a subjective designation, however, I think this is a lot simpler to objectify, Messi is widely considered the greatest of all time in Football, which is widely considered the greatest sport and is already the most played sport in the world, therefore it is incredibly reasonable to say he is the greatest athlete of all time.
I think the debate first has to decide between individual sports and team sports. I accept the logic that puts the footballing GOAT above the GOATS of all other teams sports. I'm not sure I put any team player against the GOATS of individual sports like boxing, tennis, the various athletics events, etc. Personally, although I'm a football fan first and foremost, I think the combination of skill, agility, speed, strength, stamina and sheer mental strength of men's singles tennis puts its GOAT above those of other individual sports, plus it has an acceptably large enough global base. So the question then is who is the greatest tennis player of all time?
;) since the usa plays the World Cup, does that make Messi, the American champion since he is the champion of the world (America included since they play in)
If Messi was and is given same media coverage as given to American sports stars, he would be easily the most famous in America long time ago. Even now where ever he goes the stadiums gets filled up in US and getting more popular today. Debates about Messi on American TV exposed and embarrassed some of the popular TV sports commentators there. Lets be honest here. To Americans Messi's popularity is in debate but to rest of the world there is no debate. You people go on debating as you are catering to American audience. Meanwhile rest of us are having fun watching and savouring the moment of excitement and exhilaration brought by Messi for a long time and still enjoying. Your channel would not have reached us if you didn't mention Messi. I am from the other side of the world and now am regular viewer of MLS.
Lets simplify it for some people. If i am the world champion of some sport that only exist in my town and only handfull of people trains it, then for sure it was way easier for me to become one compared to sport where milions of people are competing to become one
What I don’t get with Americans is when u ask most of them who is the goat they never seem to fathom that people play sports outside there country bar possibly roger federar they only name Americans I think it comes down to what people outside America would call there delusional American patriotism. I would argue that there are other players in football who are better athletes than Leo Messi. I truly believe Messi in the best player to ever grace the sport, but a top athlete to me is the body, strength, speed, stamina, power and a lot other aspects that goes towards being the best athlete.
There's way more people playing football than basketball. The average premier league game has more viewers than the Superbowl where most people tune into for the halftime show when the game is not even being played.

Any coach who saw messi said this kis will be the greatest of all time. Players said it too Ronaldinho said it. Ronaldo R9 said it Kobe Bryant (RIP) said it too. If u ever played football , u know that the balance that messi has with the ball is just next level. Really God of Football.
@@arjunkishore4080 you mean egg ball
No one knows Tom Brady out of America
You can not compare a sports played in one country vs a sports plaid all over the world
Another argument that proves this is eye-test.
Agree with most but Don Bradman for cricket.
It can be argued that Tendulkar may be the best ever given that he played in a more competitive time period but Bradman’s record is astonishing. His average is almost twice as high as anyone else who’s ever played - in a time with uncovered pitches.
There is no one beyond Messi.
Michael Jeffery JORDAN
@@ressestevenson7309 Nah. He doesn’t come close. The final of the FIFA football world cup alone had 1.5 billion viewers. Messi has been on top of that world since he was a teenager. The NBA doesn't command that kind of following. The most-watched NBA match doesn't even cut it.
@@ressestevenson7309you comparing a sport that is played worldwide to a sport that's only big in US....come on.
Messi, the greatest ever was and the greatest ever will be, has more social media followers than the population of usa
All of them combined doesn’t even come close….. it’s really arrogant and ignorant to think you can put forward any player from one of these sports and think they compare to the top football players of all time,
If you take your patriotic blinkers off you would see how silly an argument this all is.
@@harryselwind brilliant!
@@ddookhar Cheers! I enjoyed your comment too.
@@harryselwindif it's so easy why do you think football matches can be played for 90 minutes yet the game ends 0-0?? 😂
The Greatest sport in World is Football so the Greatest footballer is obviously gonna be the Greatest Athlete,, it's not just about the Physical aspects but what Sports itself represents and this is why American Sports will never compete with Football, for Americans it's All about violence, fighting, throwing people on the ground that's what excites them. Football Unites Cultures, it's about the passion, the History, the emotions.
@@tytheeblaiseR Why do you say football is the greatest sport in the world?
Messi, Messi, Messi...
maan i didnt believe that an american will understand this. all americans say ''he is the michael jordan of football'' but no. he is also not the best of all the millions of people playing that sport right NOW, he is also the best of ALL people in HISTORY ever played that sport. he is the messias
Great argument Luke, and again I'm so happy you fell in love with the beutiful game and you spread it in your country, keep it up ^^
And to all that everyone is adding ti the argument you have to add the fact the football is ridiculously physical in the sense that it’s 90 minutes, non stop, sometimes every three days if he’s playing multiple tournaments, and messi did that. For 20 years. Almost no injuries (some injuries were actually challenge generated). Sure, he won’t track box to box as he used to, so he’s walking more. But if the game calls for it he’ll put in the running minutes. He’s a freak of nature
I'm curious if Luke would be interest in the football manager games, you can learn a lot about the rules and tactics
No offence basketball ,American football and baseball are only big in America compare to football ,cricket and rugby it's not even close
Messi Is the greatest football player ever
Simple explanation :
More people..
Brother Messi is the best football is international basketball is just for America
Messi👑👑
Wish this video was longer ,I love the convo guys
Here is my thinking.. Messi plays in a sport which has the most participants in the world and based off accomplishments he is the goat. If the size of the sport doesn't matter, then Phil Taylor the darts player has a shoe in to be considered the best athlete in the world because he is far and above everyone else to have played the sport based on accomplishments.
Size of the sport definitely matters, it takes less skill to be the best out of 2000 people compared to 200,000, and less again from that and 2 million etc etc
Quando Pelé foi para a MLS, ele já tinha 3 copas do mundo. Porém, o futebol não era tão expressivo como é hoje aí nos Estados Unidos
Sumale dos mundiales más si querés.
Also he has done things that have literally never been seen before…
You will understand like this: Messi's five year old son Matteo is more famous globally than Tom Brady or something.
How viral this vid is about to go will show just how popular football is :D probably be your most watched vid within a week or two
Another way into this argument is that Messi was in Newell's Old Boys youth setup (one of Argentina's top teams) at 6 years old, he transferred across continents to Barcelona at 13.
By now I've watched few of your videos, I think I watched your 1st football and it was a reaction video of @magicalmessi and now in less than a year you've made so much videos and done a lots of research. Admire what you're doing.

LUKE YOU ARE SOOOO RIGHT
If your gonna have another guy to counter your arguments, make sure he knows his stats and has knowledge
also for me Messi and Djokovic have to be two of the greatest athletes of all time. They basically won every tournament in their representative sport (THE 2 most decorated athletes of their sport). Dominated 2 of the most global sports for a very long time.
The thing is remember Messi is now mid 30's, hes not what he was(for me his prime was the best ever), hes more of a playmaker these days, hes still better than about 98% of players, but ive watched Inter Miami a few times this year and they are awful, its unfair to expect one player (no matter how good to fix all problems) i know theyre getting Busquets from Barca but they still need more IMO
not only the best thing that happened to us soccer, he is going to us to make football a greater sport than it already is, by going into the biggest market at media today, messi is making football deffinetly the undesputed greatest sport in the world.
The argument that he is isnt is literally saying that being best in US is better than being best in the world 😂 that makes no sense… classic American view of the world
Great content!
Plus there is no size requirement like there is in American football or basketball, etc. therefore bigger pool of competition!
The difference between those population numbers is 2249.4% - that is the increase of the maximum potential pool size of professional football players in the main leagues
American football, as much as I love it, is not really played outside of the US seriously (a little bit in Germany). Basketball is definitely the most global of North American sports, hockey is second and baseball third - but it drops off precipitously before we get to baseball.
He is the greatest in the world✌️
Who is Brady ?🤔
Agreed
Messi = Greatest of all times!!!!
The other guy doesn't seem to understand how small other sports are when compared to football 😂
.. that's what I was thinking.. maybe he's not familiar with the global football..
Its a reasonable argument. Its probably correct.
But cant we just be satisfied with players being a goat without having to be the goat. Messi, Ronaldo, Pele, Zidane are all goats. (And othersl
I am definitely satisfied with just appreciating great players. It’s just a fun intellectual exercise to think about
Zidane, pele and Ronaldo better than Messi, heck no! I have not watched Pele but watching football from 91, i can say i have never seen better player than Lionel Messi.
Football GOAT LM10 💙
And that's only unofficial wait until it's officially announced then it will grow the following more
Funny see naive comments from these 2 guys.
Thank you Luke for opening his eye, or at least trying to
Guys, just to let you know about sports in the world....
Soccer (Football outside US) is the most popular game in the world (thats the reason Olympics decided to perform this acrtivity during the games, because its world-scale).
I guess the second one it's Cricket (Maybe because of the amount of indian people playing it)
Maybe 3rd around the world it would be Basketball (or Maybe Rugby)
Then Hockey (grass). not the ice hockey.
And maybe the most popular single sport it would be Tennis?.
Luke is right. Just because the nfl is the only League and there are roster caps id exactly why Luke is right. Less players means its easiee to be good because less competition
That is not how it works. LMFAOOOOO💀💀💀💀
I was a really great player when I was young, but when I got into an academy it was quickly apparent I wasn’t anywhere near the level required. (And this was for swindon in England, who were 4th division ……)
the other guy just unnecessarily disagreeing. football is a world sport. all these other sports is majorly just in america
The other dude's argument basically boils down to this, "We're Americans, so basically better, we're not even human anymore, so our metrics will never match other humans, we do not belong to the human race, so there."
Like cmon dude, just the sheer number of competitions and harshness of competitiveness is very different from America not even the size of the pool of athletes, for example there is no relegation in most American sports, and there are no cup competitions, so in a season the number of different adversities that a team has to face is much lesser, and to win each and every competition like Messi is nearly impossible if you really think about the odds.
Plus, the other greats he had to beat, the sheer greatness of other players that Messi had to beat, you have no idea, and there are 11 who influence most big teams, that's insane how hard it is to steamroll a team by your own clear effort
In terms of popularity he's the biggest world athlete, no doubt about it
My man messi is the greatest athlete 💪 or goat in America
I'm Brazilian, and Messi is the best of all time, and the greatest athlete on USA soil, football and the number 1 sport in the world, if it were to compare messi would be the king of a world, Tom brady, and Lebron james,, they're like mayor of a city, and not to mention that Michael jordan is the best ever, end of story, jordan jordan and jordan!!!!
The guy wearing cap is standing against the fact itself 😂
Another good old player you should watch is George best, who was essentially the 1st football celebrity
Fella got those Beatles size crowds of girls who followed him shouting and screaming
pele played played in the Cosmos for three seasons.
greetings from Argentina
Messi plays 45 minute straight half’s of almost constant awareness from a mental side a sport like this is clear easy.
100%
I think to consider the best in the world you have to play with player from all around the world
The thing is football is the n°1 sport in the world so you're right
Sure, GOAT is a subjective designation, however, I think this is a lot simpler to objectify, Messi is widely considered the greatest of all time in Football, which is widely considered the greatest sport and is already the most played sport in the world, therefore it is incredibly reasonable to say he is the greatest athlete of all time.
No offense to the other guy but clearly he doesn’t understand how big football is in the world compared to any other sport
So the question then is who is the greatest tennis player of all time?
;) since the usa plays the World Cup, does that make Messi, the American champion since he is the champion of the world (America included since they play in)
The base of the American sports pyramids are America. The base of the football pyramid is the world.
❤❤😂😂 MESSI THE GREATEST ATHLET OF ALL TIME 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮❤❤❤❤
Lets simplify it for some people.
If u r the goat of the number one played sport in the world then u have to be the goat in general I’d say ronaldo aswell is bigger than any star America can offer up as competition the amount of people who dream of being a footballer is unimaginable to be the top two of that sport for 15 years the likes of lebron and Brady don’t come close
MLS : Messi League Super-Futbol
3:20 How did you make this argument? More People Playing and Competing to be a Pro ..means more competitive, More obstacles , More cut throat , More dedication and discipline etc.
🤣who ever holding that goat status in USA should be bought to the airport when Messi is landing 🤣🤣🤣and hand that status over
I would argue that there are other players in football who are better athletes than Leo Messi. I truly believe Messi in the best player to ever grace the sport, but a top athlete to me is the body, strength, speed, stamina, power and a lot other aspects that goes towards being the best athlete.
When we gonna see football manager on the Channel
Nobody, besides Americans, dont even know who Tom Brady is. Its more likely people knew him bc of his ex Giselle the internet top model, lol.
There's way more people playing football than basketball.
The average premier league game has more viewers than the Superbowl where most people tune into for the halftime show when the game is not even being played.
0.02 percent of players play in premier league in England just think basketball has way lower competition donot get me wrong it is good sport with competitive players but no sport is as competitive as football soccer what you call
Imagine if Pele was American. Soccer would be the biggest sport in America today with multiple World Cups. Messi is on the level of Pele.
Messi is way above lele
The top 100 Football (Soccer) players are greater than any American sports person because they are global athletes. American sports are known only in 1 country.
