Yesterday I did the Bay of Drowned Wishes lost sector, on the very first clear I got the exact armor piece I wanted (Hoarfrost-Z). Other times I'll do a lost sector several times in a row and won't get a single exotic. My RNG is either amazingly lucky or total crap, there's no in-between.

Heads up for those struggling with neomuna red boarders, you can do the quest that gives you a freebie on all 3 characters meaning you'll only need 2 rng drops. If you're willing to delete a character you can get all five you need as you can redo the quest everytime you delete your character.
If you do decide to delete your character make sure to equip all green gear pulled from collections and put everything else in your vault so you don't lose any items!

I’m genuinely happy I never played old destiny.
So mannnnnnny gatekeepers that act like it’s hard to get into.
No it’s not, it’s as easy as it’s ever been. Or easier because of how much power you can get so quickly. And you still get easily 1000 hours out of the game.
It’s not like the games gotten worse, if anything the rng has gotten better, so yeah I feel for you vets, but I’m thankful I never played that crap
