- Hello Friends,
Hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of June. This flight attendant vlog was quite eventful. Started off my work trip with being reassigned to help operations out of DFW which is not a base. I was called to see if I was willing to operate a flight due to a last minute sick call. I was paid for my original trip which consisted of a four day just to operate that one flight! I happily went back home but to my surprise I ended up experiencing the scariest tornado warning in Dallas, Texas. What’s funny is if I would have worked my original trip, I would not have been home for any of that, but I also would not have known about the power outage being that long and who knows if I would have got sick from eating the food in the refrigerator. Anyway, we continue the trip where this man had no shame offering his non certified self for a medical🙄. Haha people are literally something else, what goes through one’s mind. Cancun was literally the only thing that made this craziness worth it. Hope you enjoyed coming along for the journey.

Thank God that you made it through the tornado warning safely. I still want to visit Cancun because it's on my place to visit list internationally and I have never been there before.

Great vlog as always! I have lived both in MI and SC and a tornado is no bueno. Super that you and your house is safe. In Norway now the just changed the no. Of days that you have to be able to hold your own when it comes to food, water and heat from three day to seven days! I am not there yet… Keep up the good work numero Uno! Be safe! Love ya!

Hello Guadalupe!!! So terrible situation with those weather alarms. I long time ago (10 years ago), I was working in a port facility in Spain (Burriana) and hit something similar like a tornado during my working time there. I didn't know what was happening but I clearly remember that I was scared as hell. A man that was a kilometre on the beach from my position got stuck by a container that roll over him when he was trying to protect from the gusting wind. Bab luck!!!. Yes, nature is so powerful. I'm glad to hear that you OK but I emphasize with you that on those 45 min you are passing the worst time. Qué ricos los tacos... me encantan las tortillas!!! Last but not least, when I was CC, sometimes Crew scheduling called me for the same reason. But I was happy to help them and course it was a reward. Because, when you do a favor for them they use to take you in consideration for the future. But in my case that happened 23 years ago. Rules had changed. Te deseo un fantástico fin de semana y que los tornados físicos se alejen de tu vida... ya tenemos mucho con los sentimentales!!!! Jajajaja!!!. Bye!!!

You're Tonado experience, remind me time had our magnitude 7.8 Kaikoura earthquake back in 2016 in New Zealand. Shaking lasted around three minutes, upward motion was one biggest felt worldwide. During it as was night propped in door frame going make run for outside and our bookcase fell over one meter front me. If got would been buried under it and badly injured at best by 700 pounds books. Next morning got up and screwed that thing to wall. Lucky house did not have much damage, as our houses in New Zealand designed for major earthquakes.

Yes thankfully the tornado 🌪️ warning wasn’t as bad as it could have been. Still sad the power was out for so long and all my food had to be tossed 🤧

Lupe, we here in the midwest have these tornado warnings several times a year. so relieved nothing happened to you or your home. Life goes on.
