@DiabeticDood - That name sounds familiar, but he may have worked at one of the many other departments. Sierra at that time in Bellevue/Factoria was at the height of it's power, before they got bought out. There was TONS of developers, QA, Marketing people, etc... etc.. It was a pretty rockin' time to work there!
the Atari Log Book is what piqued my curiosity this time.nice throwback to the retro years :) even though i barely played Atari games cause i was born a tad too late for that
Great video! I'm going to have to go dig up some stuff. I was at that E3 as well - I recall the America's Army display outside looking pretty cool, with the guys going through mock training exercises. I also recall Bawls people being everywhere and the local homeless actually refusing their samples. Ah those were fun, headaches and all. Love that Warcraft figure!
2010: "Here's a really cool newsletter from 1988 where they interview Ken and Roberta Williams!" 2022: "Here's a huge in-depth, in person interview with Ken and Roberta Williams!" Love seeing this kind of thing.
Wow, you really are Jesus! Rarest Xbox 360 faceplate, rarest original Xbox, very rare Pokemon gba, all you need is those one-off Atari prototypes and the rare nes games and you're sorted!
one of the quirky things i have is an official Halo 1 door mat from gamestop, it was actually from a gamestop store when my brother worked there. it was the doormat for the front entrance but was a small carpet that was on the inside facing side of the door not outside but anyways its a legit halo combat evolved carpet/mat, ive never seen one since either online or in the wild.
@MetalJesusRocks Yeah he said they used to have huge LAN parties in the offices. With like UT and Quake 3. I don't know what department he worked in though.. I miss Sierra. Some great games by those guys..
My favourite thing isnt rare or something, sort of hard to find but not rare. It is Hellfire, but I think you know what it is due the fact you worked at Sierra ;)
You worked at Sierra? Are you in Seattle? If so did you know a guy named Mark? I have a buddy who used to work at Sierra in Seattle around 95-98 or so.

An Ntsc-j version of king Kong for Xbox and the persona 4 arena record, that's about it for oddities. Apart from unlicensed chest carts and disks but I don't count those.
