Information about DRAGON BALL Z (Source: Wikipedia)
Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. It is the sequel to Dragon Ball and adapts the latter 324 chapters of the original 519-chapter Dragon Ball manga series created by Akira Toriyama which ran in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1984 to 1995. Dragon Ball Z aired in Japan on Fuji TV from April 1989 to January 1996, before getting dubbed in territories including the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe, Asia, India and Latin America. It was broadcast in at least 81 countries worldwide. It is part of the Dragon Ball media franchise.
Dragon Ball Z continues the adventures of Son Goku, who, along with his companions, defend the Earth against villains ranging from aliens (Vegeta, Frieza), androids (Cell) and magical creatures (Majin Buu). While the original Dragon Ball anime followed Goku from childhood to early adulthood, Dragon Ball Z is a continuation of his adult life, but at the same time parallels the life of his son, Gohan, as well as the development of his rival Vegeta.
Due to the success of the anime in the United States, the manga chapters making up its story were initially released by Viz Media under the Dragon Ball Z title. Dragon Ball Z's popularity has spawned numerous releases which have come to represent the majority of content in the Dragon Ball franchise; including 15 movies, 2 TV specials, and 148 video games (many of them being only released in Japan), and a host of soundtracks stemming from this material. Dragon Ball Z remains a cultural icon through numerous adaptations and re-releases, including a more-recent remastered broadcast titled Dragon Ball Kai.[a] There have also been two sequel series, Dragon Ball GT (1996-1997) and Dragon Ball Super (2015-2018).

I believe Goku's ultra instinct was him making full circle back to the original transformation of Super Saiyan One being fully mastered of his inner most being.
We don’t talk about Dragonball Stupid aka Dragonball Shit
One of the best videos I've seen taking a look at the impact of Dragon Balls transformations on the shonen series that followed it
Thank you! I’m happy you enjoyed it 🙂
That moment was the bigest horror and trauma for Goku. Fear, grief, desperation, loss, sadness, hate, rage, madness, loss of control, pain, suffer, mental shock, animal instinct - everything at once, in the few seconds.
It's unique, becouse moments like this happens mostly for evil characters that lost their mind - Joker, Anakin Skywalker and turn into monsters.
Not the most important moment in anime….the most important moment in collective childhood history!
It truly did inspire us going forward in life
I’ve never seen Dragon Ball but hearing you talk about a show that was so important to you in your youth was enjoyable. Glad to see you come back swinging with content. Another banger!
Thanks Liem! I really appreciate it 😄
The saiyan & frieza arc highly influenced long centric arcs to expand on the world-building and characterization of characters and villains. Something oda uses for his series. Nice video!
Yeah, that’s very true. I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Me and my brothers watched and played the games religiously as kids. Hell even our parents got used to it and even cared enough to remember the characters because we all loved it.
That's awesome. My childhood was definitely similar
Great analysis.
Something that gets forgotten because it's only in the manga and kai is that after killing Krillin, Freeza says Gohan is next.
Man you deserve so many more subs for this level of content. You’ll get places, keep up the good work man. (K-on video was great just wanted to say)
Thank you! That really means a lot, seriously 🥲
absolutely missed you Kaze! Great video, needed to hear this today
Omg, thanks! I missed you too 😄
He lives!!! I've been waiting so long for your videos!! Good to see you're back
Thank you! That really means a lot 🙏
Amazing amazing video! I cannot express how much I agree and feel exactly the same! Thank you!!!
Dragon ball helped through some hard times
That was beautiful brother.
I've got to put it out there even though it's not anime. The movie, The Last Dragon was released in 1985. 6 years before the first super Saiyan transformation ever aired on television.
If you know this obscure Motown Kung Fu movie. Then you know the main character reaches his goal of transforming his inner ki that greatly intensifies his skill, speed, and power under the threat of kissing his life, his little brother and the woman he's in love with. This new power is represented by a golden glow that emanates over his entire body.
I've always wondered if Akira Toriyama had seen this or if it's a great coincidence.
This is so well done, absolutely beautiful and insightful. Great work! Thank you!
Thank you! That really means a lot 🙂
you feel a lot, that is valuable in our days. Thanks again.@@KazeTalks
Enjoyed the vid. at 14 dbz blew my mind all those years ago. more plz :P well read and produced.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
When Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan for the first time, that's the moment I knew I was witnessing something truly special.
And so I do my best to fully dive deep down into this moment and explain how important this moment really was.

Not only did DBZ Impact Anime and Star Wars impacted cinema. Pac-Man also impacted the video game industry and forever changed it since the 1980's. Plus Pac-Man was the game that forever changed MY life, just like how the first SSJ transformation forever changed your life.
Pac-man was massive for the video game industry, 100%. Awesome to know that it forever changed your life 🙂
I wouldnt say Pac man was the thing that changed video games, i wpuld say Grand Theft Auto did that tbh
A fire of a video 🔥 🔥 🔥
I'm here early before school thanks kaze
You’re welcome 🙂
You're back! Do you think you would ever do a video on Spirited Away?
I would love to do Studio Ghibli films one day, but Ghibli is really strict when it comes to people making videos on their films. So probably not unfortunately.
GREAT VID!!!!
Thanks! 🙂
bro just casually released the best dbz video ive seen
That's some really high praise. Means a lot!
Hey. Not specifically related with DBZ but one thing I would really like to see was summaries of what is going on my favourite animes (like monthly or weekly). I sometimes don't have the time or spirit to see them but love to know what is going on.
The iconic burst into rage did forever changed anime forever
Hey, Kaze
Where is video about Haruhi?
I enjoyed it so much
It got a copyright strike. I’m trying to get it back, but it’s taking a while.
Dragon ball doesn't deserve all the hate it gets nonetheless this was a good video!
Thanks! 🙂

Future Trunks going SS1 hits the absolute hardest
*Goku turns super sayain*
*Fast forward 2030*
Goku: now this is my 12tu form I call it super sayain 12”
I have no interest in dragon ball whatsoever but god damn did i have a blast watching your vid, which made me realise that that one cartoon, at the time, from my childhood might have been one of the most influential anime to come out. Amazing video as always.
Yay, I’m glad you liked it, thanks!
Yoooo. Your finally back! Its been awhile!
It has. Thanks for watching! 😄
But anime fans today say Yuji vs Mahito is iconic 😂😂
1:03 don’t know how your saying other anime did it better when they are all trying to replicate the super sayian moment……. Damn
2:47 Oh god no 😭😂
1:03 Nah Dragonball did it the best
Wait who has done it better??
a world without mha let's go there
Dbz isnt a perfect anime but its the best anime
is there a need for a spoiler warning? i think pretty much everyone knows what happens in DBZ through pop-cultural osmosis
Better to be safe than sorry.
