neha ghag Right? My mom’s dress was $200, but this was back in 1985 which is like $455 today. She took it out the box for the first time and showed me it a few months ago, and we were both surprised at how new it looked. There was something so moving and heartwarming about seeing the white lace flower detail on the bodice with little pearls and remembering going through her wedding album and how my parents are laughing and grinning a mile wide through the whole wedding and reception. Like even when the DJ was nearly two hours late and it rained and my mom lost her shoes in the mud, she was laughing through it all. And seeing that dress made it tangible. One of my favorite favorite pictures is of my mom sewing her sister’s maid of honor dress for the wedding, and how there’s a picture of my mom in her wedding dress on her wedding day doing some last minute adjustments to her sister’s maid of honor dress, and they are both making each other laugh so hard they can barely zip the dress up at first.
I bought mine at vintage store. Truly one of the most beautiful gowns. Had small problems but got IT for 80.00 dollars. U could not see the defects and it was an amazing 👗
It's great that these stores exist for those who can't afford to pay the full price. I think there's no shame in saying that you bought a dress on sale (because you can't afford it) instead of telling people that you paid full price and trying to be all that. Just odd how some people have to keep up with appearances - be who you are and own it.
For every item of clothing AND everything else, I have ALWAYS been more impressed when hearing "Guess how little I paid for this" than "Guess how much I paid for this."
I bought my dress at a second hand store, and it is perfect. The alterations were expensive though. Cost of not being 6ft tall and wanting lace on the hem. You are right, brides and grooms should be more interested in a dream marriage than a dream wedding. I can't believe how many ads I am getting for financing my wedding. Ugh. If I couldn't afford to throw a party with friends and family, I'd send invitations by email and have a potluck at the beach, not borrow money.
Thank God someone said something about this! Damnnn I was like did she just say that?! Rudeeee AF could have said oh could you keep holding it like that please? Or could you pull it in again please? Mamma mia
I love the dress she chose and that price?! Bravo! to such a smart thrifty bride. I'm sorry but, all the name dropping was unnecessary, as Tamara is a stunning woman in her own right. Blessings and best wishes to her and her lucky groom for their future.
Thst Dress Is perfect on her! I hope she sweeps her hair up and has a veil that only attaches to the back of her hair when it is lifted up. She has gorgeous skin and great curves on the neck. Very lovely!!!
If a bride is on a tight budget, start an advance search at Goodwill stores. I am always amazed at seeing an occasional beautiful wedding gown in these stores for a next to nothing price tag. The right store at the right time is all it takes.
WHERE is this store? I want to get my wedding gown there!!! Absolutely gorgeous dress for such a great price! It looks stunning on the bride! That's right! Save your money for other things!!!!! What a great way to start a marriage!
The first dress did not suit her body well, the second dress' skirt/bottom looks very cheap like toilet paper piled together, but the third dress-wow, that looks amazing on her and with the sparkly belt and veil, it was perfect!. The price was a BONUS as well!!
I hate when people compare themselves to celebrities. Be yourself. It puts too much pressure on you to have to compete with someone else. Is hard enough accepting who you are and appreciating who you are and to ask somebody else's drama and and image... it's too much.
Minato .Namikaze Not necessarily. If I have a daughter I’d give her my dress. But if not I’d be happy to give it to my son’s fiancé when he’s older. I think dresses as heirlooms are well worth the investment
Because some people have money to burn and think that spending more = better quality. Then the rest of the poor suckers see how the wealthy do it and want the same for themselves.
Outlet Bridal store named "Vows" in the suburbs of Massachusetts. Overstock gowns, samples, closeout gowns. I am sure there are other bridal outlets throughout the country.
Nikitha murali krishna the dresses are not the newest dresses. They are discontinued dresses or sample dresses. They buy dresses from other shops who are getting rid of inventory and making room for the newer designs. They purchase at a discount and pass the savings to the customer.
They could've at least taken the tag off of the veil. It looked so tacky on her head like that. Maybe it's wrong of me but I prefer the sales people in the other shows. It just seems like they know to pin the dress and I've never seen a tag shown like that on the others.
I love how this show can produce gorgeous looks without spending a fortune.
That amazing feeling when you Love a dress..and it's much CHEAPER than budget....damn that's awesome

No one at the wedding needs to know the price. That last $450 gown was gorgeous on her.
That’s honestly heartwarming, marriage should be a happy time and not a time when you’re crippled in debt.

A refreshing change from Kleinfeld's dodgy practices. Thanks for respecting people's budgets.

She was clearly joking
@@k.d.6114 was she heck?!! You're giving her too much credit
@@k.d.6114 Like really obviously too with how over the top she was while saying it. But these people only come here to nitpick brides so.
Yes she was unpolite... And you know very loud and bad behavior in a shop like that.... In my country ghe owners put you out.
WOW she looked amazing in the Watters gown, can't believe the price!! Goes to show you don't have to spend thousands of dollars for a wedding gown 😊😊
🗣YALL ! THE $450 DRESS IS EVERYTHING! I was like oh yes before they said the price. Then they said 450 and I was like wait a darn minute 😲

SN L I kept thinking of Tiffany Pollard... Beyoncé... Beyoncé... Be-on-say! You look like Luther Vandross... ahaha
That dress is her! My niece just got married and her dress did not flatter her but, she looked beautiful anyway.
I am late but can someone explain how they manage to sell these designer dresses so much cheaper ??
Shourya I think they’re all samples from previous seasons.
All the designer dresses look a bit ugly
Lovely Tamara 😍wish you best of luck
Why are designer wedding dresses a thing you literally use it for *1 DAY*
Minato .Namikaze hopefully 1 day*
Because divorce is expensive

If i spent a lot of money I'd wear it everywhere. The grocery store. The movies. Maybe get it dyed a new color/altered.

They just don't jack up the price like everyone else.

Somebrides would have better luck finding their dress id they didn'tfeel they need to look like Beyonce, Kate Middleton or even a Kardashian!
How do they offer half the retail prices?
So you've really never heard of wholesale??
Assistant sees the dress looks horrible but doesn't say a word.
Her friend's reaction was my reaction
Why do they want to look like some star!!!
