I have never retightened my hair; however, I wanted to self maintain my locs. On 2/9/24, I decided to retwist all my SL using the same retwist paste you used, and I loved it. This is my method of choice going forward.

I really like it. I think after separating you should finger comb a little bit and it might loosen and be more to your liking. Maybe it will get looser over time too!
