It is a nice upgrade, but there are even better 360° triggering cymbals on the market. The bass drum is cool, but for around the sane money, other companies make full shell bass drums that have a more realistic depth.
I think the upgrades are good and a step in the right direction for Simmons. I wish the new cymbals were 360° triggering, but they are an interesting look. The new kick drum is a nice touch. I think they need to come out with a hi-hat on a stand. I asked Simmons a while back about a hi-hat on a stand, and they told me they did not think that was nessasary as they produce electronic drums, not accustic drums. The other thing Simmons needs to work on is better sounds.
These look pretty impressive. I have a Donner DED500Pro. They come standard with 2 x two zone cymbals and a set of H-Hats on a traditional style stand. The module has parameter settings for three zone cymbals plus an input for an extra cymbal. So these look like a perfect upgrade. Love the kick that comes with Donner kit. But this Simmons Kick drum looks pretty cool. Great share. Me want!
Se ven muy bien. Creo que el tamaño de los platos mejorará la sensación al tocar pero de ruido es igual por hola que tiene. El bombo se ve muy bonito pero se nota en el video que por dentro es el mismo kickdrum de la titán 70. El ruido ambiente ambiente al parecer es el mismo. Creo que haré el upgrade de los platillos y por el gato😂. Gracias por tu review, siempre muy buenas
Simmons e-kits are not really that good. The new cymbals and bass drum only make the kits cosmetically better. Other e-kit companies make a much better kit for the money.

I thought I will share this. The DrumBeam by afk-audio. A bar like pad trigger... with variable zone sizes. I need this thing. What do you think. Endless possibilities. I hope it is somehow affordable.
