Like the look of this! El looks so in shape! Really hope he finishes overall in the top 10 (or top 5!). Keep going Heapy!! 🤟🏻

Amazing work by the both of you. Jonny for setting it up and doing it as a test, and Elliot for realizing what he needs to compete in the EWS, and kicking his training in the ass. I wish I was that young and cut. Turning 55 last week sucks.

Hi. Firstly, many thanks for the training video, it gives an understanding of the direction of movement for progression as an athlete and biking. I have a question regarding your offseason training video. during the strength training phase with three days of gym work per week, do full-body exercises every day or split muscle groups on different days of the week?

    • @Fit4Racing

Thanks for the positive vibes and for the question. You can have a “focus” on a primary lift each of the 3 days, it would make sense to change these lifts to be different muscle groups however, assistance work following that lift should fill in the gaps so you’re working full body each training session.
      I hope this helps.

@@Fit4Racing Thanks for the quick response. Then i think splitting your workouts by muscle group is the best choice. And now I have another question 😁
What do you think the training plan: Mon legs, Wed chest and Fri back, is it a good choice? Or should the training plan look different in the context of mountain biking? (during the strength training phas)

@@catyledonfod2095 if you’re going to do a “split” I’d recommend squat, hinge and upper for 3 days but not neglecting assistance work for total body each day. Don’t be influenced by a bodybuilder style program design, rather look at total body work each training session with compound movements but with an emphasis on an area depending on the day.

@@Fit4Racing Thanks a lot for the answers. I hope I don't bother too much with my questions. And I can ask something else in the future.

I don't like the pedaling enduro all about the fast downhills but I understand why they are doing it harder
