@@jankeydan9294 we're in Llangollen on Friday for the weekend. Any advice on riding round there? We're doing Degla on the Friday but would love to hear about other Llangollen routes mate.
@@simola2610 make sure your bikes serviced and ready to go. It’s pretty rough and steep so you will drop chains if they’re not up to scratch and you’ll be heavy on the brakes. Wear a full face if you have one and I’d be wearing at least a back protecter, there’s not much soft to land on 😄
Supersets traditionally alternate only 2 exercises that have opposite movements, as defined by the google-verse in your own query? For instance, bench press alternated with some curls or pulls so that the exercises are literally opposite movements. Three exercises or more is a circuit. Circuits are less specific about movement and can be kind of random. You're suggested supersets are really circuits... I do like them tho

@@bryanmyers4970 I hear you, the “google definition” there states 2, that was a mistake in the broll however, google “can you have more than 2 exercises in a superset” and the answer is yes. Our mistake on the editing.

Hi Jonny! Do you do exercises to build up your spatial awareness. I have hit the 40 age and I heard that you start to slowly loose your spatial awareness. I am die hard mountain biker. Any tips?
Not so sure on the stretching before a workout. Active mobility yes similar to footballs do before a game but not this holding stretching. Because you are forcing the muscle past its standard range of motion. Potentially once loaded up on the main exercise you could cause injury due to going past the normal range of motion with weight now added of which the muscle isn't used to. Athleanx talks about it alot.
AthleteX specifically talks about the neuromuscular patterns you have most ingrained in you and not disrupting them and reaching different positions in movements like the squat. He also goes on to say instead you should warm up the movement with incremental sets if weight to establish the new range. This is an absolute given, and regardless of stretching or not, you should always incrementally add weight in a warmup. So ultimately, if you are told to increase weight over multiple sets to increase range before the "working sets" you are actually only at full depth on the heaviest of sets, which contradicts the foundation of the advice given. By stretching and optimising positions before loading means ALL of your incremental warm-up sets are at the full depth you will achieve under the heaviest weight, thus enabling your body to be more prepared and less likely to cause injury. This in only one of the reasons to stretch before lifting, I won't list the rest here but I hope it gives you a better understanding of our thinking vs AthleneX.... who ultimately is an aesthetic bodybuilding coach and not a performance coach.

What a fantastic series this is going to be! Amazing work!
Thanks James!
Thanks for these videos! These stretches reminded me of your at-home 30 minute stretch routine... I ought to do that more regularly
Great video! Thank you for taking it back to basics for us. 👍
Glad you liked it. Hopefully you’ll enjoy the progression of this series.
Definitely at my most unfit at the moment, want to do an ews100 next year so these videos are going to be really useful. Thank you 🤙🏻

This is a terminology difference. I’m my opinion a circuit has less rest and usually contains more reps. Either way it’s all the same thing.

Good stuff 👏 👍 👌
Best warm up before park rides regular ride u have alot of pedaling climbs too get warm not with lifts tho
Hollow Rocks is already difficult but okay, but V Ups is almost impossible for me, especially after the hollows. Very hard exercise for beginners.
More videos like these please! Just noticed the mic. Kudos!
Another dropping this Sunday 👍
