Bards are always a great new player character to make money. You can provoke monsters against each other and have them do the work for you. All you need is an instrument!
Just joined, seems cool... dissapointed that the new player island basically forces you to grind gold in the newbie dungeon though, feels like a very deliberate and limited experience rather than the big sandbox that original UO was.
@@PwnstarrGaming Aye I know. Not what I was getting at, I mean generally it feels less sandbox than oldschool UO. Though not neccesarily a bad thing, will just take some getting used to
I just made a Harvester with a dexxer skillset to chop and crush opportunistic PKs seeking easy prey. I found it's very fun to actively punish those reds while risking my hard earned mats.
Find a cheap vendor contract in anchors rest. Make sure the other vendors in the same mall are listed on outlands mall. Reason is if someone sees your item on outlands mall, they are much more likely to buy it if its an easy to access location. A vendor out in the middle of nowhere, not listed ok outlands mall, will have trouble moving items.

Nothing forcing you to stay in shelter. Can leave immediately after character creation if you wish.

You can go to sanctuary dungeons whenever you want. There are no criminal actions allowed there and you can get full gold value from kills.

Water is much more inexpensive as stated in the tamer video. I think they like 10kish a core atm
