This is exactly what I"ve been playing except with 120 scribe instead of 80 resist/40 camp. Also using points in mana drain for the 20% spell refund, which hits the 50% cap with wrestling and a lvl 10 aspect, then you can use crafted books. I've been using death armor and eldrich book but fire armor does sound fun! Good vid!

Wait so wrestling mana chance counts towards cap? So I been literally risking 25-50 k spellbooks for NOTHING. Good to know LMFAO well to the three PK squads who got them, and the one dude who might've been the most glorious duel I've ever had till we both oomed and the dragons fire sealed my fate like Bolvar Fordragon, Chief says keep up the good work and don't take my trash talk seriously 😳 Chief Shlapaho is RPed as a well known dick but if I take your last dime find me at outpost and we will farm u up a stack together!
I changed my summoner (void/eldritch) to fire mage necro, and man! I'm melting the npcs. At first I missed the void proc, but after adapting to the mechanics, the efficiency of the template is huge!
I never tried fire, i got tier 13 on my toon I have. I been using Poison, which is LOW LOW tier 4. Just never tried the fire. I always use whatever i got is less so i can make it more powerful. I might give it a shot tho.
Welp, the cost of fire aspect items is about to go up lol. Might have to try this one 😁

Currently using Eldritch + Void armor, with a focus on mana refunds to spam Flamestrike and melt things down. Doing pretty fine. But Fire Armor seems interesting in theory. Once I have more money I'll definitely check it out! Thanks

Fire aspect should have always been high man, people should base aspect values on the procs and the suit effect. While we're at it, if you dump Necro for Parry you literally have a PVP summoner that pops off huge 2k plus aspect procs even at mid aspect levels like 7 ish, and you can take a shotgun blast to the face while you chug and gheal through almost everything. Make sure to disarm and rearm spellbook to chug, not use the razor auto disarm to drink because it removes the shield side instead, not to mention it's slower than you can do it manually with practice by a lot

Hey! So how is this build with the new expansion. Is there anything you changed? Hows fire aspect today, or would you put focus in this build?
Dropped camping added focus. focus kinda furthered the gap between pvm/pvp builds making these hybrid templates more consequential
I put this on my echo on my long time dexxer i got. I aint run it yet, but i already have 3 summoner's just not with these skills only.

Instead of 80 resist 40 alch/camping, how about 120 poisoning for more strong dots to help trigger disease/fire armor?
I've got a poison template video layin around here somewhere! But heck yeah man thatd work! you just wouldnt be able to survive pvp content as well ;p

I'm going for this template. Finished levelling the skills and managed to buy a spellbook. Which codex should I buy first? Wizard's Grimoire or Summoner's tome? I'm a new player and gold is a huge bottleneck.
I always suggest the tome first since it'll help you quicker outta the gate. But some like going grimoire for the shrooms faster.

I really like this template - my only criticism is that not having tracking is absolute suicide in Outlands, you'll be PK'ed regularly and without any warning or ability to get away (keeping in mind how weak you will be for a long, long, long time as you'll be stuck in the low aspect levels for many months). I wound up sacrificing Resist + Camping for 100 Tracking to see how this does (notable PVM spell damage, too). The biggest crutch is carrying weight.

Hey. Love the videos. I'm new to UO Outlands - around 2 months now. Very oddly I was testing Eldritch and Fire last night on test after testing necro for the first time.
I couldn't beleive how often the flamestrike proc'd even at just level 10 aspect.
I love this build but being new I need my FE for leather.... though as someone in 'newplayer' said last night..... If I can make a ton of Gold then I don't need FE.
With this build you didn't take Mana vamp. Are you at 50% without it? Assume a decent spell book?
I was using a Valehide. Eld aspect is t9 atm. So I'm at 37.50%
Could def cap it w a magic book.
But... using mind blast and below in circles.. I'm not really mana starved so 37.50 seems to be doing its job well enough that ill keep a crafted spell book

Did you pick the spell choices you did to double up for PvP or was it simply a PvM choice?
I've just hit level 10 in Void. I assume sticking with that for the spellbook still works as it means I don't have to start over even if the special is shockingly slow.

@@leemonk384 spells won't have any effect in pvp, since Wizard grimoire doesn't work in pvp ... if that's what you mean?

The more damage you get from "non spell damage", such as the disease ticks, the fire armor FS, aspect proc's, the more I am thinking you'd want Damage to Poisoned Creatures, and just open the show with a regular poison.
Hmm ya know that's not a bad idea, really wouldn't be getting much damage from the poison itself, being lesser poison at 0 poisoning, but the damaged to poisoned on the other hand could definitely stack up. Do poison ticks also have a chance to proc FS? And are the FS and disease ticks affected by damage to poisoned? Interesting.

@@17Scumdog Yeah you would get a chance at procing fire armor FS too.
But the real "trick" is how magery is able to turn on Damage to Poisoned Creatures, at low cost of 9 mana and 1 seconds of dps time invested.
Unlike Damage to Barded Creature links, Poison will never fail to apply. And if someone else is blocking your poison, well who cares, it's poisoned, that's all my links care about
@@martinrosschou Also note that Mind Rot, which you'll be using anyway because it increases your disease damage, also works on Poison Damage.
This would also give Taste ID a place in this build for even more mana. If you want to live on the edge and make it a full PVM build?
I'd get rid of wrestling, resist, spirit speak and camping, and give it Taste ID, Music, and Disco. Your pets won't be as tanky, but they'll be taking less damage with Disco, and you'll be killing things that much faster. Disco, especially with the Bard Codex provides a massive increase to damage dealt.
This is also one of the only builds where I'd recommend maxxing out Fireball. Simply put, it's another DoT/Source of damage, so more flamestrikes. :)
This build will REALLY scale with links. If you get 10 damage to barded and 10 damage to poisoned (and 10 slayer)? Your poison ticks will do more, your disease ticks will do more, and your fireball ticks will do more, and they will all proc FS, which will do more. It ends up being a multiplying feedback loop that's pretty insane. Try it on test center. :)

Yeah I was thinking the same when I saw the video, that though I generally agree fireball is the weaker of the 4, in this build it might be the best (probably not better than lightning...).
But even in the spirit of this video, I think just turning on damage to poisoned is worth it, especially if you don't want to set up x sets of damage vs y dungeon :P

Looks good, but it probably costs a ton to spec just based on the lvls needed :/
Just get the 20 necro skill scrolls as you can afford them. Gameplay doesn't HAVE to start right at template completion. The video you see as well as the last week of streaming this template I don't even have 100 med yet during gameplay . I'm letting it rise through gameplay.
Also fire and eld activations are rather inexpensive.
As for the wizard grimoire. You gotta play and kill stuff to gain exp.
So no, its rather inexpensive.
I'd suggest as your macroing up wrestling on a dummy you harvest ore or lumber to get some cash. That should cover any costs outside of the necro skillscrolls by itself.

Id put in eval & buff up med or buff up herding and ss and focus either spell dmg or pet dmg.
Otherwise looks fun. Always love disco builds.
Command is great for follower builds.
Death is great for necro follower builds
Eldritch is great for spell dmg focused builds
Void is great for all builds.

Not bad. Little difficult to get the 20 skill scrolls for necro and your a bit weaker pvm. But if you like to pvp and wanna fight back.. its not bad!

Hard to say an optimal tier level.
Sooner the better. Cause your not gonna proc often low tier w book. But will much more later

Just dowloaded uo and your name came up a lot in my youtube research so ill ask you. All i did was go to uoalive and dl game and start playing dont know how to play different shards or whatever and having issues with some npc’s and enemies not bn visible and need to know how to fix

@@GounterUdc like firefield. So, in oss4 for example. The heirarchs do that big fire thing. That would be considered field damage

I've tried similar builds but the cool down timer with barding and herding is pain in the ass. I run it without herding, but with med and Provo, Necro armor and command book

How ever, Damage vs Barded / Poisoned / Zone, Disarm, Discordance debuff and Provocation buff, will increase the procs damage.

@@martinrosschou The question for me, is that does the mana buff from void (allowing more spells) trump the flamestrike procs. If it procs like mad then I think fire wins, but other wise void might be slightly better. Time will tell.
