Those exhaust tips and brake lights do look awesome. Was funny pulling up behind an IS (surely a different year) at a Walmart gas station some weeks back. Complimenting the owners car is apparently the smart way to go!
I've had my IS500 for two months now, just broken it in and it is always fun to drive and look at. I'm very happy with it and will keep this car for ever. Mine is silver with the stock Enkai wheels, I didn't like the optional BBS wheels you had on your car, which most come with. Great review BTW, keep them coming.
Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! You captured the essence and character of this car PERFECTLY! This car is for those of us who do not want an electrified or turbo'ed anything. Design and Driving characteristics sets this car apart from other modern vehicles and I'm here for it. The ASC switch is for the Active Sound Control, it's not a dimmer switch for the interior lights. Was that a stain on the passenger side headrest? The white interior is awesome, but I'd go insane with the upkeep. 😀 Finally, thanks for cluing me in on the 'Figure 8' of the stacked exhaust! I like to think I'm the biggest super fan, but that point was lost on me all this time. Nice to know there's something new I can learn. 🙂 Thanks for posting, great video!!
The one exterior feature that I like about my is500 that’s not on the lower models (other than the quad exhaust and hood bulge of course) is the dark chrome window window trim over the regular chrome trim
"...It could get 6 miles to the gallon and spit in my lunch sandwich if it wanted to and, I would still love it...." 🤣🤣🤣 The best! Thanks for the review!!
Cars like this are proof that Toyota could go head to head with the Germans but they're too conservative to really let loose. The IS500 has a fine engine in a good chassis. The interior is fine, certainly better than Infiniti. It needs an update but Lexus seems to stretch out their model cycles. If it's not broke, don't fix it. Imagine if Lexus had turned their F division loose 15 years ago. We could have had M and AMG level cars. Now, it seems like Lexus F is basically an appearance package.
It’s not a true F vehicle merely an “F sport performance”. Lexus has always been too conservative to Rival the germans. Reliability and Luxury come before the performance.
I drove one of those at a Lexus drive event and I have to say it was by far one of my most absolute favorite cars to drive. Its on the someday list for me for sure.
I used to have an isf it was so much fun to drive, the reason I sold it it’s because it was a 4 seater and I have 3 kids so it will sit in my garage most of the time but I might conside this one now 🤔
I think they kept that shifter to go with the cruise control stalk on the the right side of the wheel....like a 2000 camry...we don't care!! Thx for what you do!
I like that car, the v8, the overall look. Only bad things are that laptop track pad, and the way over the top grill. Hopefully Lexus will move away from the goofy grill eventually.
Most people seem to like the version of the grille on this particular car. I think we'll miss it if they keep going in the direction of their newer stuff like the TX.
So i coming from a 22 is350 fsport loved the car but throttle lag was super annoying being its a v8 does it have better throttle response not looking for burn outs just better response off a red light
2023 with a CD player and a V8. What’s not to love
Not just a CD player, it's a DvD player. You can watch movies when parked.
"I like being stuck in my ways." I probably have 30 years on you and I feel the same way, Zack.

I agree i❤my 2023 such a gorgeous car but ferocious at the same time.

Can we have a green sippy cup test just one as a cameo in a back seat cup holder test
I wish I can afford
Great review. I have a 2023 350AWD in Boston. I want this sooo bad! Darn icy weather here!
Same here. Have a 350 F Sport with AWD. Damn Chicago winters. Maybe I'll get an 500 F Sport as a summer car. Dare to dream.
Fantastic video! Love these
I’m loving my is500! Nice video

Great video, I love the blue paint
From suicidal idol tiktok song to pimp 50 cent I like the variety of the playlists 😂
Redline is actually 7,300. You know this because you hit the rev limiter in this video. 😂
great review, the interior of the 2023 IS is spookily similar to my mother''s 2014 IS
Not really...if it works it works...no need to change it for change-sakes. 😀
4:15 Minor detail but I like the mode label animations at the bottom right of the gauge, reminds me of the menu from a Japanese arcade game
Daz a big freakkkiiin bottle
i wonder whats the difference between 2024 IS 350 F SPORT DESIGN and 2024 IS 350 F SPORT
Stunning blue

Great car. If I were 20 years younger this be my ride of choice. Nowadays I want a more quiet ride with higher ride.
It can be very quiet on Eco mode. Tamed exhaust and amazing isolation.
Owned a MKIV Supra in my mid thirty now the 500 is perfect for my old ass
CT4-V Blackwing or this? Or Audi/BMW/Merc equivalent?
If reliability and the lack of V8 wasnt an issue, CT4-V!. I drive a Lexus Is500.
^my thoughts
20.5 miles is a great average for an NA 5.0 V8
Intoxicating sounds!
So i coming from a 22 is350 fsport loved the car but throttle lag was super annoying being its a v8 does it have better throttle response not looking for burn outs just better response off a red light
the one you have is the exact spec I want
Beautiful car! 😍😍
What’s up with the passenger head seat? Who’s sweating dirt
I can’t wait to buy one of these… in about 20 years they will be in my price range 😂
Headroom was never good on these cars
Yesssss
Subaru WRX STI FTW
A very 2010s car
TIME FOR NEW ONE LEXUS IS500 MAKE BODY 2 INCHES LONGER MAKE MORE BACK SEATS SPACE INCREASE HORSE 550 ENGINE
Basically a GS500? That would be amazing... Hope lexus brings the gs back eventually
This is the last harrah! Don’t think will see something like this again
ayyeeee
