He awoke in a daze. Groaning he looked around, trying see if he could recognized the unfamiliar surroundings he now found himself in, but it was too dark to see anything. He felt a small pinch of pain in his arm. He feels something that felt like scotch tape or something similar. Underneath he feels a tube. He tried to move but found it hard to, every time he tried he could only feel an extremely sharp pain throughout his body. He tried calling out to see if someone was there, but he couldn't hear his own voice. He tried to touch his ear with his hand but to no avail. "What's going on"? He thought. "have I gone def"? He lied still in the bed and thought for a moment, contemplating on where he was. He wasn't about to try moving again, because it was too painful. After coming into the light he could see now why it was so painful to move. All of his limbs have been surgically removed. He began to scream, Turing his body to roll off the bed. " Shh". The nurse said gingerly. "Now now, don't go unraveling your bandages now". " You don't want the sutures to rip, causing you bleed to death do you"? He stopped moving and quieted a bit. "That's better". She said smiling a slightly crooked smile. They passed through a long hallway, and stopped in front of pair of two metal doors. Above the doors in, big read leaders it read, surgery. She rolled the bed through the doors and into a rusted, dirty looking surgery room. Around the room he could see tools and large vats of a strange green glowing liquid. In a loud, almost ear piercing screech a door opens revealing a monstrous doctor that had two extra arms beneath his original arms. On his face was a mask with a tube leading down to a capsule of the same strange glowing liquid as in the vats. He gave a slight glare at him and said. " Prep the patient". With that the nurse grabbed him with one hand and placed him on a cold steel table. She then grabbed some surgical sheers and removed to bandages from the mans stumps. Then she grabbed a large syringe and injected a dark green fluid into his one of his stumps. He began to feel very dizzy and light headed. The nurse then forced an anesthesia mask on his face. He thrashed his head about trying to remove it, but failed and slowly fell out of consciousness. Hours, maybe days go by. When he finally regains consciousness. But something was wrong. He no longer felt like he was himself. He looked around his body, examining his limbs that seemed to be foreign to him. What was once his legs wear now bruised an elongated. And what was once his arms and hands was hellish claws. He looked around in shock and saw the doctor, he had seen before. "W-what have you done to me"!? He said with pain in his voice. "I made you my pet". " And as all good pets do, you will obey me". He smiled, not knowing why. And started laughing. What was once a slight chuckled, became an uncontrollable fit of weeazng laughter. It all seemed so funny now. That's sort of a creepypasta. I just pulled it out of the air. Is it really that hard to write a creepypasta?
God, whenever any of these shitpastas bring up Jeff my immediate reaction is "NO!"... They can't think that people are gonna take their stories seriously, right? ...right?
I think the reason a lot of creepypastas border on being copypastas is because a lot of them are written by children/early teens. Younger kids haven’t been exposed to as much media as adults, so tend to be more influenced by a single story. Younger artists usually start out by copying the thing that inspired them to start drawing, so it’s likely the same goes for young writers as well.
It was 10 years ago. I was just a popular, nerdy, lonely boy. It was in high school when I fell in love. She found a game at a yard sale. It said "do not play." She put it down. Big mistake. Turns out the game was awesome and could have resold for a lot of money today, because it was still in original packaging.

well... I think the crossovers with Jeff weren't creepypastas, just another fan-girl trying to worship a murderer because he's "cool and badass". The reason I think they were not creepypasta is because they are not meant to be scary, they are there uniquely because they feature "gore and dark themes". EDIT: I know i'm 2 years late, but I had to "relieve" myself somehow after watching this :X
Some of us wrote them real young. Some of us were very stupid kids. I was one of em. Number 9 is my first story. It still haunts me in a hilarious way to this day.

I just noticed the plants vs. zombies music is playing at the zombie part in the video.
He awoke in a daze. Groaning he looked around, trying see if he could recognized the unfamiliar surroundings he now found himself in, but it was too dark to see anything. He felt a small pinch of pain in his arm. He feels something that felt like scotch tape or something similar. Underneath he feels a tube. He tried to move but found it hard to, every time he tried he could only feel an extremely sharp pain throughout his body. He tried calling out to see if someone was there, but he couldn't hear his own voice. He tried to touch his ear with his hand but to no avail. "What's going on"? He thought. "have I gone def"? He lied still in the bed and thought for a moment, contemplating on where he was. He wasn't about to try moving again, because it was too painful. Slowly he began to hear a slight ringing, that grew to be an excruciatingly loud beeping on the left side of his bed. "A heart monitor"? He thought "how did I end up in a hospital?" Suddenly a loud metallic clanging sound erupted, causing his heart to jump, almost right out of his rib cage. It was a door on the far right corner slowly opening. A beam of light cutting through the darkness that surrounded him. And there a woman in white clothing and a medical mask standing within the door way. Her presence was comforting at first, until his eyes adjusted more to the blinding fluorescent light within the hallway. He could see her more clearly now. She was standing awkwardly as if she were on a slant. He looked at her in the eyes, and she titled slightly. "Finally awake I see". She said in an oddly squeaky, almost cartoony like voice. She giggled again and said "Well the doctor is ready for his patient now". With that she took an overly exaggerated step towards him. He could hear a slight and sickening crack from her legs as she crept closer to him. She paused for a moment an her limbs and body started to thrash around violently, all the while seemingly growing longer. Her skin stretching and her bones morphing, making a disgusting popping noise as they they did. Her fingers and hands began to grow longer and her face mask began to stretch as well revealing a painfully big toothy grin. It all stops after what seems minutes. He watched in horror as the twisted, grinning figure took one more step and grabbed the rail of the hospital bed and gently rolled the bed out of the room. After coming into the light he could see now why it was so painful to move. All of his limbs have been surgically removed. He began to scream, Turing his body to roll off the bed. " Shh". The nurse said gingerly. "Now now, don't go unraveling your bandages now". " You don't want the sutures to rip, causing you bleed to death do you"? He stopped moving and quieted a bit. "That's better". She said smiling a slightly crooked smile. They passed through a long hallway, and stopped in front of pair of two metal doors. Above the doors in, big read leaders it read, surgery. She rolled the bed through the doors and into a rusted, dirty looking surgery room. Around the room he could see tools and large vats of a strange green glowing liquid. In a loud, almost ear piercing screech a door opens revealing a monstrous doctor that had two extra arms beneath his original arms. On his face was a mask with a tube leading down to a capsule of the same strange glowing liquid as in the vats. He gave a slight glare at him and said. " Prep the patient". With that the nurse grabbed him with one hand and placed him on a cold steel table. She then grabbed some surgical sheers and removed to bandages from the mans stumps. Then she grabbed a large syringe and injected a dark green fluid into his one of his stumps. He began to feel very dizzy and light headed. The nurse then forced an anesthesia mask on his face. He thrashed his head about trying to remove it, but failed and slowly fell out of consciousness. Hours, maybe days go by. When he finally regains consciousness. But something was wrong. He no longer felt like he was himself. He looked around his body, examining his limbs that seemed to be foreign to him. What was once his legs wear now bruised an elongated. And what was once his arms and hands was hellish claws. He looked around in shock and saw the doctor, he had seen before. "W-what have you done to me"!? He said with pain in his voice. "I made you my pet". " And as all good pets do, you will obey me". He smiled, not knowing why. And started laughing. What was once a slight chuckled, became an uncontrollable fit of weeazng laughter. It all seemed so funny now.
That's sort of a creepypasta. I just pulled it out of the air. Is it really that hard to write a creepypasta?

I think the reason a lot of creepypastas border on being copypastas is because a lot of them are written by children/early teens. Younger kids haven’t been exposed to as much media as adults, so tend to be more influenced by a single story. Younger artists usually start out by copying the thing that inspired them to start drawing, so it’s likely the same goes for young writers as well.
It was 10 years ago. I was just a popular, nerdy, lonely boy. It was in high school when I fell in love. She found a game at a yard sale. It said "do not play." She put it down. Big mistake.
Turns out the game was awesome and could have resold for a lot of money today, because it was still in original packaging.

well... I think the crossovers with Jeff weren't creepypastas, just another fan-girl trying to worship a murderer because he's "cool and badass".
The reason I think they were not creepypasta is because they are not meant to be scary, they are there uniquely because they feature "gore and dark themes".
